well, kovalev got caught off guard, like a cheap shot, because ward wandered over there right in front of him before it was time for the announcements. cheap shotting already.

Ward looks perfectly natural at this weight,I'm not sure he'd even be able to make 168 now anyaway

Agreed, I was thinking the same. His inactivity as he aged more than anything would make 168 impossible now. And remember he was a LH (178) as an amateur. He must have boiled down a lot to make SMW

Sergey wins, if Ward fights it will be KO if he runs it will be UD

amateurs is fight night weight. 178 as an amateur to 185 or whatever he's going to weigh tomorrow night is an increase in size. Also, I don't think Ward actually came in at the full 178 lbs during his amateur career. Don't quote me on that though. All that is moot anyway. Ward fits in perfectly fine at LHW.

I believe he claimed that so that him and his cousin (DonYil Livingston) didn't have to meet in the Olympic qualifiers.

Absolutely. Maybe not deep with 'name value' but I'd much rather a PPV card like this compared to having the likes of Berto vs. Ortiz III or Broner vs. Litzau or something.

I've never seen Kovalev so intense and focused. There was pure unadulterated hatred in Sergey's eye when he stared directly into Ward's filthy soul.

Hatred eats away at the soul and merely leaves a huge gaping hole of emptiness which dilutes reason and disturbs the fragile balance of the human psyche. You must know this better than most, surely?

Do you think Ward can realistically make 168 anymore
