He has some decent skills and will be competitive in the top 10 at heavyweight, but he doesn't have the fitness and power of the Klitschkos. Since he's gained weight, he doesn't seem to have the stamina to put a series of hard punches together long enough to stop his opponents. He had Walker stunned a few times, but couldn't put him away without taking the risk of gassing.
he's not going anywhere. he is getting the boystov treatment. the guy seems to be regressing and his "stoppage" of derric rossy was absurd.
how do you know that? I thought Pulev was going for the kill. I think any decent referee would have stopped that fight before round 9.
You're right, the referee should have stopped it because Walker was taking too many punches and had no answers.
I'm on board. I like Pulev. He has much potential, Future champ. In a few fights l'd like him to fight Glazkov, Unstinov and Boystov. This will expose some over hyped fighters and prove who the real stars are. Maybe a Pulev-Chageav fight would be good to. Stylistic it sounds good.
He did, but he was practically alone in the ring. Sprott did not show up. I think Pulev has a lot of good tools, but failing to knock out Walker and Sprott back to back is a bit disappointing.
I thought he looked very good today, he appeared a bit fitter than in his past couple of fights. He fought intelligently, and had Sprott confused with his constant feints. And the fight was a one-sided beatdown, Pulev got the TKO when Sprott quit on his stool.
