A fighter doesn't have to make an official announcement that he's moving up in weight. He can just say it verbally or announce that name of his next opponent and what weight the fight will be in.

A fighter like Lara isn't a Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao where every no nothing scribe hangs on their every word that they have to call a press conference to make an announcement.

 

Most the people in this forum wants the fight, is the most attractive fight now GGG needs a dancing partner Lara is available and willing to move up.

No one is saying that. GGG fans are saying that Lara is a good fighter, would be a great challenge to most everyone at the weight class, but the pressure style and technical skills of GGG would eventually overwhelm Lara. What exactly is wrong with that ****ysis?

Are you kidding me? Have you ever been on YouTube and read the comment sections? I was just reading in the comments about GGG, and how "every white person is deep down a white supremacist" "should be killed" "will all burn for what they've done" "are evil incarnate" "would kill their daughter's child if it was born mulatto" and on and on...and that was just one video example. This is basically on every single fl@mo channel, or any video pertaining to GGG.

 

What's wrong is that these clowns want to perpetuate the myth that Golovkin "runs" from opponents which is 180' from the truth. Your summary, while correct, doesn't fit with that meme.
