This should have been on ESPN. Pacquiao-Horn did monster numbers and was the highest rated and most watched boxing telecast since 2006.
Why? It's usually better for a young prospect, but for Pacquiao now money is the key factor. He probably doesn't care almost at all to get more people (like new fans) to watch him, because realistically he doesn't have too much time left. And for ESPN it will become a $5 ppv, in fact, because almost all boxing fans have already tried it for free to watch the Crawford-Horn fight.
Is it all that needed, lol? By the way, I don't get it. I would quite gladly pay 5 dollars a month to watch boxing (but it's not available in my country and also the time difference would **** it up big time) and somehow it's too expensive for US boxing fans...
You calling us cheap? It's not actually about the money but there a zillion fees for tv today all because they want even more money! Its principle. There's netflix, hulu, amazon prime, directv now, and then that's not even getting into the direct to network subs like espn+. Anything on espn+ should be on espn, you've already paying for the sub in the first place. The + is just a another forced revenue stream and further dilutes the product customers already paid for.
