Figueroa broke his hand against Arakawa. And won at least 2/3 of the rounds. Just because it was a war doesn't mean "life and death." Figueroa never got in any real trouble in the fight.

Linares doesn't beat anyone easily anymore.

Crawford fighting Burns in his hometown... lets hold off giving credit until the fight goes down. I will be picking Crawford but not by a landslide and Burns is a big step up from Prescott last year for Crawford.

Arakawa is a solid fighter, plus every fighter has that fight where its a war. we'll see how Linares does.

Burns is nothing and ducked Broner, Crawford will spank him but that doesnt mean he spank Figueroa. Figueroa is better then Burns

I could see Linares vs. Arakawa following the Linares vs. DeMarco script.

Jorge boxes Nihito's ears off for several rounds, gets complacent, and suffers at the heavy (and patient) hands of Arakawa if he is unable to have gotten rid of him by then...which he probably won't be.

Of course being scheduled for ten instead of twelve helps Linares tremendously.

so I'm not the only one who thought this. EVERYBODY was saying how Arakawa had zero power vs Figueroa and I'm sitting there thinking what the **** is everyone watching. He was turning Figueroa's head 180 degrees from shots that didn't look like much. like an Angulo except even slower.

Linares vs Akrawa is a tough one to call. Probably go with Cruz-Figueroa, Canelo and under rounds for a 4 teamer. all favs so not much money on that. I look for good underdogs. Garica +220 was a steal and Porter +500 was even more of a steal.

Great card, I'll certainly be watching!

I feel Canelo-Angulo will be fireworks. Always love to watch Santa Cruz fight, and Mijares is no slouch (although not at the top of his game). And Linares is never in a dull fight.

I still remember Manny Steward saying Jorge Linares is the best fighter he's ever seen.
