LMAO jabs and 1,2s that he couldnt see.

Cotto hammered and stumbled clottey with JABS, left hooks to the body, left hooks to that hting he calls a head, left uppercuts, and even some right hands.

Cotto is a warrior for fighting with that one eye, you cant say **** about it for Cotto. Rematch anywhere and it will be a KO for Cotto

This fight proves 1. Cotto is a warror, 2. Cotto's defense/will/and speed is underrated, 3. Clottey is a chump

    Good insight. ^

Cotto is a star for a reason. He has that extra gear, and he's aware of the perception of his audience.

I'm pretty sure even Miguel would tell you 116-111 is bull****:lol::lol:

The point I'm making is that this fight happens in Vegas or Cali or New York or Idaho, Cotto would win a decision. Clottey doesn't have the power to get a knock down and doesn't have the stamina or workrate to keep things going to take the fight.

aw come on, Clottey was the aggressor most of the fight with Cotto back-peddling. biggest difference in the rematch is if Cotto doesn't get cut early. that blood in his eye really hurt him.

If Clottey is a chump, then how can you say that Cotto is a warrior with "underrated" defense/will and speed?

Doesn't really make all that much sense.

Coming forward isn't enough though. I can come forward at you with my hands up and throw two punches and miss and not get the decision.

Clottey had Cotto bloody, unable to see in one eye and drifting straight back on occasion. He didn't do enough. He didn't throw enough meaningful punches, he didn't muscle Cotto ala Margarito and he didn't impose his will on Cotto.

Clottey looked like Kendall Holt in the Bradley fight. Having success, but doing everything he could to make excuses for not performing, and not digging down when it was there for grabs.

116-111 was stupid, but no one should complain about Cotto getting the nod. We are lucky the fight didn't get stopped early from the cut.

Cotto fought with blood in his eye for over 10 rounds, when he could've easily quit after the 4th round and taken the W. . Cut kept worsening and Cotto kept fighting

Clottey tried to lay on top of Cotto and dropped, almost quits.
Cotto barely hit him on the back of the head, more like a bit behind the ear, complains.

ONLY THING i give to hm is the low blow because that was a clear mistake on behalf of Cotto.

I think Cotto pulled the fight out .. no doubt.

But when you see scores that lopsided when clearly the fight was very close - it makes you wonder about the status of the judges. My thing is this take the judges out of the decision process if they cannot be objective.
