    That was just before Williams really fell off and became the pathetic shot to **** low level journeyman he is today. He was still a solid Domestic/Euro level operator then.

    Terrible is the wrong word. He didn't look good, but he drew with Takam (a top 10 contender, if he didn't gas after five rounds he would probably have won) and arguably lost to Jennings (now the challenger for Wlad Klitschko). I scored that fight also a draw, so it is not terrible but he could have done better.

    Just really unfortunate imo.

    Really talented boxer who's heart has been destroyed by the Mago fight. Hopefully he can find himself again.

    Manuel charr is written off too soon by some people. yes he is limited in a way but hes got heart. perez cant match it when it gets tough IMO

    He can promote himself in a ring but that's not a word for "heart". Heart is when you are able to throw a lot of punches when you are hurt and fatigue. Charr being clown in a ring is not what one can call "heart". If Kevin Johson were just a little bit less lazy, he would outscore this bum easily.

    Perez is better, but his fitness/motivation issues make it difficult to pick him with any real confidence.

    Perez should be the big favorite in this. Still, it's a competitive fight, and the location favors Charr more than Perez, given that Charr seems to be in with the promoters.

    Charr seems to be trainer-shopping in America (last seen with Roger Mayweather) so it will be interesting to see where he ends up. And this fight will be an excellent test for Perez to see how far he comes with Robert Garcia as a coach.
