How does Bryd own Spinks? Spinks is way better accomplised than Byrd, aside from stopping Vitaly what has Byrd done? He made Oquendo and McCline look like fantastic boxers, he couldn't beat Golota, and he got his belt by beating a 41 yr-old Holyfield.

As for Vitaly he owns nothing but limited out of shape C-class fighters, which brings me to his fight with Lewis who was old, shot and out of shape and out of wind by rd 3 but Vitaly still got owned, Lewis that night would not have beat a peak Tyson,Holy, Bowe, or Holmes or even Rahman. Yet Klithuggers see this as the highlight of his career, goes to show just how bad his career has been.

How do you know Spinks was so good? We all assume that what we think is correct answer the question.

I know by his resume and by watching tapes of him that he is better than Peter, Williams, Sanders, etc. Anyone who denies this is very bias.

I see your point, but being smaller isnt always a disadvantage, Tyson used his small stature to his adavantage more times than not. I give Vitali all the credit in the world for beating Peter, but Peter gave no resistance and had limmited head movement, and absolutely no footmovement, in other words, he was a sitting duck for Vitali's jab and straight right, Peter fought Vitali's fight. Tyson is the complete opposite, he fought at angles, threw combinations, great foot and headmovement, and the combination of handspeed and power was legendary.

Tyson wouldnt be able to get in the uppercut, but the bodywork he would do on Vitali would break him down, Vitali stamina isnt the best, and on top of that, he leaves his guard very down, and leans in with his chin sticking out. Vitali may have good reflexes, but do honestly see Tyson not making contact on Klits chin?

You'd think Tyson had never beaten a guy that was bigger than himself to read some of the comments in this thread. He did it his whole career :patsch

The point has been made I believe that prime Tyson was a better fighter than the Lewis that VITLAY got owned by. Tyson would land more in 3 rounds than Lewis did in 6 that night. Tyson is no Sam Peter either, every time he'd try to get inside he'd get there, and throw hurtful shots.

Klithuggers don't understand that Vitaly was fighting a shot faded legend in Lewis who just hung around a little to long only difference is Vitaly wasn't good enough to take the torch like Marciano, Holmes and Tyson were when they met faded legends. BTW the version of Lewis that beat Vitaly was even worse than the 1 that got KO'd by Rahman.

Prime Tyson would of smashed Vitali, only ******s watching boxing for 5 years would pick Vitali.

He is the only fighter whos best result is a loss by TKO.

Vitaly is a decent fighter but Klithuggers do him a diservice when they try to claim he is an ATG.

Something else that I thought was the first round of the Tyson/Lewis fight....he used to fight like that for 12 rounds back in his prime, and he was faster too  No way does VITLAY keep that version of Tyson on the end of a jab, no way in hell.

Vitali is a 7 foot punching bag for Tyson, seriously. This fight is not even close.

People are intoxicated by the aura of Mike Tyson...... But for Christ sake, he was seriously flawed........ Most of his early victims were scared shitless going into the ring..... V.K. has NEVER looked scared to me at all... JESUS! This guy (Klit) would scare the Frankenstein monster..... Klit KO's Tyson in a time machine....... No problem...
