If this is true i have no respect for Pac, if he is this stupid he should take less to fight Floyd since by that Arum would lose the most money...
I knew Arum is stealing from him big time but didnt know this much.

The bottom line is that it all adds up to show how he is getting screwed. The same reason Arum and Koncz wanted VisionQuest gone. So you think Manny got 14 million off of PPV sells? All that money doesn't come right away and Manny has no clue as to if he is getting all of his money or not. Its sad.

I don't know what he makes. But it's obviously a blatantly bs claim that he hasn't made more then 8 mill in a fight.

Don't go bring objectivity into this. Now we know what numbers Floyd was looking at when he thought he was offering Pac such a sweetheart deal. :rofl

I'm not sure. That 6 million dollar purse is the amount Pac received immediately following his fight with Mosley. After PPV revenue came in, Pac would get the additional 14 million. Just because he's not receiving his guarantee in a single installment doesn't mean he's getting the short end of the stick. That would depend on how much money Top Rank is taking in on the back end.

I'd like to see what Mayweather's fight night purses are, though, for comparison.

They always understate what they actually make. For instance Cotto's purse was registered at 4M vs Pac with the NSAC. He receieved $12M from that fight after bonuses and PPV revenue. Pac's was 7.5M and he made over 20M.

Keith Kizer usually comes out before the fight and releases those numbers. If you go back and look up some articles you will see this.

TR gauranteed him 20M+ but it's not necessarily his official purse.

Pacquiao's official purse was registered as 6 million as well with the NSAC vs Marquez who had a 5M official purse. You think Pac would accept a fight with Marquez at almost a 50-50 split? lol. Pac made 30 million from that fight. Probably nothing more to it than a tax cutting ploy, Arum's been around a while, knows all the tricks

I understand that was his guarantee up front but when he doesn't have bout contracts and Koncz tells him what to put for his taxes then it doesn't add up. He gets advances from Arum as well and he is getting robbed. The whole VisionQuest thing proved that and its a damn shame too bc he is putting in blood, sweat and tears while Arum robs the **** out of him. :verysad

Well I seem to remember that Mayweather gets guaranteed figure of $20+ Million and then when all the PPV is added up earns around $40+ Million per fight (forbes reported that he earned 65 Million for Mosely fight behind Tiger woods)

For two fighters who are considered the face of boxing with similar PPV figures, one is going home with $8 Million guarantee and $20 Million in total and the other is going away with $20 Million guarantee and £40 Million after PPV revenue Hmmmmmm?

Something doesn't seem right to me but I'm sure Pac fans have a plausible answer?

This data excludes ppv #'s. Wow 8 mil on venue ticket sales is a lot.

Top Rank gaurantee him 20 million, but it is not his official purse with the NSAC, never has been all the way back to Hatton. I think the UFC do the same thing, eg.Brock Lesnar, his purses were officially listed at 400-500K, and he made in the tens of millions per fight. Pacquiao took home 30 million vs Marquez, who took home 10 million. Mayweather took him 40 million vs Ortiz because it was 90-10 split and took 100% of the PPV revenue.
