Also Bball notice that Pacquiao fought TWICE in '10 in comparison to Mayweathers once?

So you do the math Manny fought twice and earned $42 Million ($21 Million per fight) - notice I said that he earned around $20 Million per fight in my earlier post?

But like I said before I'm really not bothered if someone is gonna to tell me that this document along with the link I provided are wrong fine and Manny earns more than Floyd then fine I just need them to explain it to me.

BTW I dont think this justifies Floyd getting more than 50%, I don't agree or disagree really I just want the fight to be made.

Let's say I'm fighting someone with a guaranteed purse of 10million, and a bonus 20$ per PPV sale for every sale over 500K. So if the fight does 1 million in PPV sales, I get a total purse of 20M. But if the fight tanks and does 250K sales, I still get my 10M guarantee. The guarantee puts the onus on the promoter to make sure the fight does well on PPV.

Now let's say for the same fight I have a guaranteed purse of 5M, with a 20$ bonus for every PPV sale above 250K. Well in this situation if the fight does 1 million PPV sales, I still get the same 20M$ purse, even if the guarantee was only 5M$.

So the guarantee doesn't necessarily affect the total purse if the fight is successful. It only comes into play when the fight doesn't sell well. If the promoter does a really good job, the guarantee doesn't really make a difference in the total purse.

It's kind of like insurance for the fighter. If the promoter does a **** job and the fight tanks, the fighter still gets paid his guarantee.

Oh don't worry. I know Pac makes much less money :yep

Like Floyd said, he made more money in his last 2 fights than Manny made his whole career

You sure about that? Don't forget that pac still gets around another $20m in the Philippines. he gets a percentage in all private/public viewing PPV and PPV in cinemas plus the advertisements in local tv etc. That is nationwide in a country that has 100 million population. I don't think Bob Arum still has access to his earnings in the Philippines.
