The reason for refusal to fight with Solis Larsen was the reluctance to risk the Cuban fight with Pole Tomasz Adamek (47-2, 29 KOs), to be held on December 22. Not only defeat, but a cut or injury received in a fight with Larsen, could put an end to plans to meet with Solis Adamek, who is a more attractive opponent for him both financially and in terms of ranking.

What next for Odlanier Solis-hard training or fast food?

What will be his weight for fight with Tomasz Adamek?

Does this will be end for Odlanier(Big Mac)Solis?

Of course. Blatant duck. That lump of lard is terrified of fighting the greatest all-round athlete of all time, who wouldn't be?

    I hope Adamek annihilates him.

    :deal

If the fight happens I hope so too. But Adamek should obviously fight Leif Larsen instead and let Solis fight obesity.

I really wanted to see this fight. I'm always amused by fatsos KOing Mr. Universes.

Of course, but there's a fair number of people here who like to be sarcastic about bad matchups, and about an equal number of people who are just mentally ******ed and agree with them because they're too mentally challenged to tell whether someone is being serious or not.

It would have been nice to see Solis get some rounds in against Larsen before facing Adamek. He still hasn't had 20 fights and being active should help with his weight.

From a business stand point I can't blame him from pulling out. I doubt he was too worried about getting beat by Larsen but there is the possiblity of cuts, injuries, etc. and his fight with Adamek could be his last big chance.

You know what's funny? Solis is the future of the division either with his talent or his common heavyweight fatness.

Essentially, he's terrified of taking any chances and jeopardising his payday. Doesn't bode well for his chances in the fight, does it?

Larsen is too big, too athletic and too skilled for Solis, no surprise
