    good fight this one

Kim Jung Joo (the one who beat andrade) vs Bakhyt Sarsekbayev

good boxing work from sarsekbayev, keeping his man in range has a nice southpaw style, he comes back with the rigth hook and doubles up with it. 1st roudn to the kazakstani.

close roudns 2nd kim even though only 5'6 is countering him well. technical fight this. nice body jabs from kim they of course wont score. sarsekbayev using his hieght to ge tin and out of range.

well story of the fight is kim will walk into a punch and get coujntered to which kim would then throw his own counter. so it was 2-1 every exchange.

9-6 at the end to Sarsekbayev good fight and kim goes out. shame i likedkim.

price just got a 8 count 5-0 to the itialian. price did the stupid move of throwing an uppercut against a southpaw I.E. left to the jaw and got followed up with a right.

camarelle is noticably shorter surprisingly. price is doing nothgin on the outside. just striaght rigthhands against a southpaw you lug.!!!!

The Frenchman Alexis Vastine got ****ing robbed against the Dom. Republic's Diaz yesterday. Bloody awful- Diaz was garbage and kept swarming and holding, the ref (twice) pinged Vastine for holding!?? and ended up giving Diaz 4 points in total which gave him the win.

Vastine was beside himself the poor *******.:-(

Maybe Vastine shouldn't have just held on and clinched. He was as guilty of it as the Dominican. The reason the Dominican was swarming him was because of that, the same reason he was putting his head down. What killed me was that faux-sanctimonious bull**** Teddy Atlas and Papas pulled. They forgot that the first 3 rounds they were bitching about the way Vastine was boxing.

It was an ugly fight for sure. With a messy fight like that to penalise the Frenchy twice for something the Dom. was doing far more of (clinching, holding etc.) Vastine was continually holding his arms out straight trying to disengage. It seemed very unfair...Diaz will get FLOGGED in the final...he's not good enough and shouldn't be there.

I did think that was bad. I felt sorry for Vastine, of course...I thought his emotional breakdown was a bit over the top, but I did feel for him. But he and his coach shouldn't have been so shitty to Diaz either. Diaz isn't the one who took the points from them or anything. We'll see if something comes of this match in particular in the investigation AIBA will be having into the officiating.

Vastine had better skills than Diaz but he is very fragile psychologically. Diaz brawled in the inside, he initiated the clinches but it was his game. In a clean fight he would have been outpointed imo. You have to be clever and nothing can be said against Diaz who did his best. The problem is that he was helped by the referee : the two boxers were warned but only one was sanctionned.
Nato fired of the fight + 2 penalities it was a bit too much for Vastine. Even with that the scores were close and it's a good sign for Vastine. He is young, he could have another chance in London.

Lomachenko is a monster. I was sure he would win but such a destruction is very impressive. Lomachenko is THE boxer of the tournament imo.

He's one of the most impressive 20 year olds I've ever seen and almost guraunteed the Val Barker Trophy, let's hope he turn pro soon.
