Price's right hand in that first 1-2 was an absolute peach.
Timurziev was pushing forward trying to get a stoppage himself and got beaten to the punch, a read head-turner.

his head span left right simultaniously.

price has a good chance now. he has to fight jaksto who is a big puncher...but has nowhere near as good technique and class of timurziev.

did you see camarelle:think huge tank of a italian. has a awful guard but great ranging...stands up ritgh a bit too much aswell.

With Timurziev gone, Camarelle is arguably the new favourite for the gold.

if anybody gives a damn taekwondo on 20th...brass fights aswell as only wtf(world takewondo federation) accosiates can fight. so no kickboxing style only hands down, chin up and turning kicks this year.....great fun :patsch :dead

can anybody explain to me about judo:huh i watched about 3 "fights" and i have no idea how you score points, but that kinda involves other sports that will reamin nameless *cough* boxing *cough*. and ippon stops the fight. which is if your dropped to the floor...but sometimesa you get 1 point for it, a 100 points for it or even a "ko"....QUE?

anyways boxing boxing boxing after a really bizaar dicission to have light flys(the lowest wieght) and super heavy's (please dont make me smack you...the biggest division) on the same...card:huh is that right? card...anyway, we saw the faste3st and the slowest the thinest and the fattest.

great fights today and i hope tomorrow will be even better.

    light heavy's and welterswieghts
in the welters we have a mish mash of fighters. billy joe saunders of great britain squares off with cuban(that says it all really) carlos suarez (but i think will be called carlos banteux due to cuba's tradition with having there mothers name adressed to them in the games).
banteux is not as good as people regard him he has quick hands and decent power but isnt one of the elite cubans.
so billy joe has a pretty good chance against him.

there is the chinese hopeful Hanati Silamu. decent but similar to his chinese team mates. all powerful but pretty open with the defence and seem to tire easily. so a passive fight is what he wants, but camaroons last boxer in the tourney, Mulema is a very awkward boxer-swarmer so it might be an upset here.

andrade...i saw him this week and to me i feel he aint as good as he thinks he is. he has a style that suits a cutie with footwork and counterpunching uppercuts from the solid southpaw stance but the guy is as scrappy as hell. light jabs on the outside light jabs on the outside.....thennnnnnnn!!!! flump flump flump flump nothing just wades in head first with wild hooks...decent technique on them but still this is not a good sign. in the end he looked bad to a 4 year boxer.
well long story short he fights balanov the european champ from russia. who is good but just nothing really spectacular. if he has a half decent left hook he should give andrade a chess match.

john jackson, julius jacksons son (who will be in the corner) is there. he dosnt seem to have the one punch power that his dad has but has a bit pop and relies on his aggresive style to win. he fights kim jung-joo who is also a front foot fighter. so if there is gonna be a real fight this is prolly it...or it could turn into a simple case of both men on the front foot and slaming into each other I.E. clinching.

Timurziev did not llok all that special to me. I think he would have been beaten by Wilder.

Type long, long posts in word first to avoid that, then cut and paste.

Unfortunatly the Australian boys didnt have the greatest run.. out of the 9 reps we had only lightwight Anthony Little mad it past his first bout....

He's fighting Alexey Tishchenko now...... tough fight but Anthony has all the goods he needs to bring home the win so watch out Russia we comin to take u out!!!!!

also the scoring for Steve Southerland (Aus) VS Walid Cherif (Tun) was BULL****!!!!

Im not disputing that Steve lost the fight but theres no way the score was as wide as 14 - 2.... Steve scored more then 2 points.
