I was really impressed by him too. That hook which knocked down the other guy was sweet.

I saw the Kazakhstan- fighter Serik Sapiyev Light Welter (64kg) fight against the Venezuelan Johnny Sanchez.

Sapiyev was a litle slow in the first round, but then completely shut Sanchez out. He was incredible- he scored in the last three rounds 5-0. 6-0, and 8-0 finishing up 22-3.

He attacked relentlessly and I think he's a very good chance for gold at 64kg.:good

did anyone see the featherwieghts class fight with the mongolianj and the cuban... my god it was close. the cyban hadnt won a single round till the last when he timed the guy...real give and take.

idel torriente will not go far but amazing to see a cuban in a tough tfight so far.

also mexicos santos reyes is a strong contender now.

would that of been one of the samir brothers?:think

bastir is a welter and the other is a feather methinks.

just checked again. bastir is now a light heavy. bastir has always been a big puncher just has a terrible output. unless you put the man infront of you.

only one ghanain left now...plange. who out hustled the phillipino

during the interview with Andrade, they mentioned about how he is being mistaken for Kobe and he replied with "tell Kobe to get in the ring with me and they will know who's Kobe and who's boo boo" hahaha.

Uzbekistan, Khazakstan and Ukraine combined have ****ing 13 fighters left in the competition. They're being almost too impressive in this tournament, shocking.

Too bad Georgiev was helpless against Uranchumeg. I liked his style.
