I would have him right after Pac. No 2.

 

Pavlik's gonna get tagged a lot, but he should absorb the shots well, whereas PW will never get comfortable with Pav's hard shots, and will be sleepin on the job in round 7.

 

The only thing I don't like about this fight is that it's 2 Americans. There are too few American Champions and contenders for us to have them fight each other. That being said, I'm glad this fight was made as it's Paul's Natural Weight Class, and with the Super Six Tournament, it was really Kelly Pavlik's only option, other than some no-skill soup can to pound on.

Watch the Taylor vs. Pavlik fights, and then Williams vs. Quintana and Philips. If Williams doesn't suddenly morph into Bernard Hopkins Jr., he has no chance at all. The great question mark is just if Pavlik mentally recovered, and how much it affected him.

Props to Williams if he can raise his game by the amount he needs to be able to match Pavliks strengthes and outbox him.

i'll take Pavlik on points, hard to really judge how good Williams is since he's only fought here once, but Pavlik should batter him
