Official Pavlik VS. Martinez Poll--April 17th

I can see martinez leaving pavlik a bloody mess from alot of clean punches,pavlik is there to be hit and martinez could possibly bust pavliks nose open.

 

I was just being a little 'coy' on that one. Trying to get jsimps to post ALL of the particulars. They do a net stream but I'm not sure if it will be of interest here until I know what they are planning. Jack and Kelly leave today so they probably won't be on the guest list. When they do the shows for the local fights they have had on a pretty impressive guest list. Arum, Buffer, Roach and various fighters from the event, the under cards and visitors like Mancini. Since the fight isn't in town it will probably center on the fight but without the "A list" guests.

As the fight gets closer, Im changing my prediction. Martinez wins by KO before the 6th round...

Pavlik is done. Bernard ruined his life. First, he takes a L with Hopkins. Then he pulls out of a fight with the Punisher Paul Williams. Not once, but twice. Now hes going to get KOd by Martinez and the overrated Pavlik kills himself.

 

Sergio didn't look all THAT good against Gumby. Not long before he finds out the difference between Gumby and Kelly Pavlik.

 

He should leave poor Gumby alone. After watching the Martinez fight I've analyzed how Paul absorbs shots so well. He quivers all the way down from his face to his toes thus spreading out the impact of the punch. Kind of like hitting, well, Gumby.

 

He does! Especially when his cheeks vibrate after getting hit with a hook. Good nickname.

 

I know it is a bit mean, but that just popped into my head while watching.

Wow, the poll results are close. Pavlik is a slightly betting favorite but i guess many boxing fans think Martinez's footwork will mess up Pavlik's methodical and predictable style.

I can't wait for this fight. It's good for boxing because it's a toss up fight.
