PAvlik is a very flawed fighter as Hopkins has shown us, but he might be too big for Martinez. AM stopped Martienz, and PW was able to land on Martinez who has gotten better as a fighter, but taking on the so-called mw champ after losing to PW even if the fight was close imo is a bit much to overcome.

 

This will be an interesting fight..
If it goes 12rds, I'd prob favor Martinez
Anything before that will defo come Via Pavlik by K.O.

Like I said before, I would not be surprised if Martinez Calzaghe's Pavlik, he has just enough movement and speed to do it.

Martinez just keeps his hands way too low and gets tired. I just cant see how that will work out for him

 

Those who claim that Martinez is a terrible style match-up for Pavlik seem to be looking at some pretty superficial qualities. Martinez has fast hands, and he moves around a lot. That does not mean he can beat Pavlik.

Martinez gets hit by right hands A LOT!!! Pavlik has one of the best right hands in the business. Even Margarito blasted the **** out of Martinez with right hands, and guess what -- Sergio is NOT faster at age 35 than he was at age 25, and his defense has not improved one iota.
