I just checked out my betting website and the odds are great for both fighters.

1.83 for Peter and 1.91 for Chambers. Im definatly gonna throw down 110 dallors on Chambers.

Sam Peter is cool and all, I mean the guy came from the slums of Nigeria, Africa and started boxing and went out and was somthing.

But Shannon is right tho what he said last night on Onthegind. Peter don't seem to give a **** anymore. The guy is living good, living in Vegas, he has the American Dream basically. The guy came from the means streets of Nigeria, became world champion and made tons of money. Eddie Chamber is more serious on this win, and the resent rumors of Sam not being in shape and looking horrid in the gym prooves it as well.

Im gonna go with Chambers on points, winning about 9-3 or 8-4 on the score cards. Chamber has good acuracy and more speed than Sam and it will cause the out of shape Sam much troubles.

    Finnal Prediction:

    Chambers UD

    Your thoughts and opinions.

I believe this fight is a true 50/50. This could look similar to the Toney/Peter 1 fight, with Chambers actually beating Peter to the punch and winning by decision. Though after watching some of Chambers fights, especially against Brock, I do see openings in his guard, and if Peter chooses to go to the body to open up the head, Peter can win this fight by knockout. If you watch the Brock fight, Chambers covered up alot and let Brock blow his load, if he gives the heavy handed Peter a chance to do that, it may end with a Peter knockout.

My money is on a Peter by 6 round TKO, but a Chambers decision would be my 2nd pick if he gets past the early rounds without getting hit clean or hurt.

Peter by Ko...I think Chambers is still green or hes as good as hes gonna get..I think Peter is one of the top 5 in the weakest division in the sport!

I really can't make up my mind on this one. I think it comes down to how much Peter really wants it anymore. He may not really care after what he's been through, and if that's the case I think Eddie waltzes to a victory. If Peter is really determined to get on top and prove he's the real deal... I think it'll be a painful night for Eddie. I guess my pick is Chambers UD with Peter TKO as second.

Didn't Chambers fade badly against Povetkin? He can't afford to fade against Peter like that or he'll get KTFO.

I really want chambers to win but i do not see it happening. I think peter's size is going to be way too much for chambers. I think chambers is going to get overwhelmed by the size and start to panic and get hit with a few bombs and go down.

I think Chambers is going to school him. Peter does not want to fight anymore.

I have to vote for Peter.

I don't know if Eddie has tasted the power that Peter has. As far as Sam Peter looking out of shape... Folks must realize he is a naturally big guy and this is the HEAVYweight division, too many big guys get tagged with being out of shape.

    I have to agree.
I think its all about Peter. If he is the peter of old... he will KO Chambers.... if its the newer version..(McCline Vitali), Chambers will out point him....

I still think Peter needs a new team and someone that will get in his face to keep him in line during training....

since the last I saw of Peter I guess I will go with Chambers, but I wouldnt be shocked if Sam pulls it out

everyone voting for peter by ko, i have to ask how you can sound so sure about a fighter who has numerously said that he doesn't want to fight anymore, that training is arduous and hard to care about, that his promotional team is basically forcing him to fight using the fine print of his contract to intimidate him by way of fear of losing a large court settlement for breach of contract. i mean, if peter were motivated, wanted to rebound from the loss and taking training seriously. i might think of this as more of a pick 'em fight. but,, despite technically being in camp going on several weeks now, peter looks awful--having turned a lot of muscle into jelly since his disastrous last fight, in which he looked very much the fighter who didn't want to be there. chambers, on the other hand, while a little green, is highly motivated, hungry and has looked very sharp and too quick, too slick to get ko'd by peter. i mean, for a puncher to have a puncher's chance...a puncher needs to want it. remember vince philips back in the day, always pulling off a brutal upset just when he was written off as shot completely? that kind of perpetual dangerousness has nothing to do with sam peter's career trajectory.

Peter is a mess.. Chambers should dominate and if Peter comes in 250+, Chambers will probably even stop him.

peter is a naturally big, thick guy. even in his best shape he might have looked soft to the casual observer, but we're not talking about lennox lewis with puffy cheeks and a six pack here, being written off as under-trained or soft. peter has lost his will to fight and his body has fallen apart because of a generally unhealthy lifestyle that would betray even a naturally sharp physique.
