Casa UD, we'll see another upset this year, I know JMM is superior boxer and all, but somehow I feel Casa is still too slick too unorthodox + lefty. I allready imagine JMM beeing the agressor and Casa using his hight and reach advantage to outpoint JMM maby even knocking him down once. Make no mistake JMM is one of mine favourite boxers right now but Casa looks just wrong for him in this matchup, I hope Ill be proven wrong tho.

Its all about styles puga. With Casa's age and Katsidis' nonstop pressure, of course he's gonna get tired after a few rounds. Now is JMM a pressure fighter? No. He's like Casa, a boxer, a counter-puncher. JMM won't be pressing much in this fight so I don't see Casa's stamina playing a role much in here. I can only see him tiring in the later rounds but definitely not the early and even mid rounds.

Both of them will be playing the waiting game in here. Therefore energy will be conserved. Casa won't have to deal with someone who constantly comes at him(which is why Casa had to move alot against Katz). And as for speed, Casa is still pretty fast IMO. Not as fast as before but fast enough to still connect on JMM.

I agree with you though that JMM will win. But for me it will be a tough UD win.

JMM will be much more sharper and accurate.. I see Casa getting frustrated and perhaps sloppy going late into the fight.. Casa's just about on his way out as well.. JMM UD

A good fight indeed, but I just think JMM is going to get the better of Casa.. JMM has the ability to go hard all 12 rounds while Casa is going to get tired and start getting tag a lot more.. I think it'll be close and even the first half of the fight, but then JMM will pull away with a clear, but close UD..

I think you may be underestimating JMM's ability to fight while not in counterpunch mode.....

....take a look at the MAB fight, where MAB wanted to sit back and make it a jab contest.....JMM then adjusted and went on the attack, forcing MAB to have to work.....

.....you look at JMM's fights with Pac, Marquez actually went on the attack vs Pac when Pac wanted rest time.

....the thing about JMM is that he's fully capable of keeping his hands busy whether on the backfoot, or while the aggressor.
Dont think for one second that team JMM does'nt know that Casamayor cant fight three minutes of every round.....they know JMM can, so I fully expect them to take advantage of that situation and force Casamayor to have to expend energy.

I know one thing that wont happen in this fight, and that is that JMM will not allow Casamayor to sit back and dictate the pace of the fight.
....like in the Pac fights, JMM was back training at high altitude, and the feeling here is that its going to pay off monumentally vs Casamayor.

.....the more I think about it, the more I'm siding toward this fight being one sided.

I honestly will be very suprised if Casamayor is able to put up a good fight.

Marquez wins this fight. Casamayor is pretty much done. However if they match him with Juan Diaz in his fight after Casamayor they are making a big mistake. Diaz's size, youth and agression are no good for Marquez.

Interesting, I happen to think that Diaz wont be able adjust from round to round with a true boxing technician.....

The Campbell fight showed that Diaz could'nt hang with good boxer.....in JMM, we're talking great boxer......

....in any regards, here's how I view the top lightweights as far as threat is concerned against JMM.....

    1. Guzman

    2.Campbell

    3.Diaz

The Juan Diaz fight I actually I'm confident JMM wins quite handily.
......Diaz is a come foward fighter who brings it, and who doe'snt have a whole lot of power.....seems to me thats tailor made for a supreme counterpuncher.....
....and the fact that Diaz likes to fight inside, opens up one of JMM's main weapons....the uppercut!:hey

I say bring on Juan Diaz!!!!:deal

JMM by UD...if CASA is fully prepared JMM by SD only

Like I said if JMM or PAC beats CASA no credit.
But if JMM beats CASA in a fashionable way.. like JMM wins by KO or
12-0 in all the rounds. Ok' about 10-2 in all rounds I'll give credit.

If JMM or PAC beats Juan Diaz, CAMPBELL or Guzman then I'll give FULL credit!!!

Yes, well you are quite a deluded Marquez fan. I on the other hand am not. I have never picked against the guy but if he fights Diaz that will be the first time. Hell, I even feel Diaz has faster hands than Marquez these days. Funny how you are so confident when the guy has yet to even fight at 135. Age and size catches up to everyone if you keep pushing it. What Campbell did BTW, JMM would not. Campbell went and out fought Diaz. He outworked him,was dirty and roughed him up. Campbell fought a great fight. JMM don't fight like that. Fact is JMM has very few advantages against Diaz.

Yep, skill, ring intelligence, punch variety, stamina.

Can you name the advantages that you have that Diaz has over JMM???
I dont believe speed is one of them.

    ......maybe barking after throwing a punch! ;)

Just posted what I think about this fight from another thread.

Won't be surprised though if Casa pulls of an upset TKO.
