I mean he doesn't impose the stylistic qualities which jinxed Cotto out of his new "title run" last year. Without those qualities an opponent like Rodriguez will fall to even an older "Junito". He'll level up to Cotto, he'll get hit a lot, he'll throw a lot, Cotto will have to break him through twelve -- a clear-cut task on paper.

Cotto is aging, no doubt. But Trout was a very bad opponent to put him in against at this point.

I hope the size difference wont be an issue for Cotto.

Cotto's lost his power... who was the last person he knocked down?
Actually who was the last person he hurt???

The Foreman fight doesnt count cos the was a TKO due to the knee injury.

Lets hope Roach can bring that left hook back.

Since when? Anyone questioning Delvin's stamina would be well advised to rewatch his fights with Wolak. The Trout fight was a total anomaly so please don't use that as evidence of his shortcomings. Delvin has been shafted by judges on several occasions so his record doesn't even come close to telling the whole story.

Cotto gets rounds in, controls the pace with his jab, and either wins a late stoppage or a decision.

Most likely. Rodriguez could bust his face up some before all is said and done, though.

Anyway, Miguel should win this....unless he's far more past it than I imagined.
