These 2 are the elite cream of the crop, if anyone can beat Mayweather its Pacquiao... I really dont think this will be an easy fight for either fighter, I feel it will be both mens toughest fight to date... Im going with Mayweather on points because the defence & punch accuracy of Floyd is something we have never seen Pac deal with before, even if he handles it like the legend I feel he is, Floyd has so many other tricks up his sleeve, he ALWAYS adapts great & I feel he & Manny will adapt to each other throughout, showing why they are the cream of boxing but ultimately I feel Mayweather will be able to show us that little extra bit of greatness to pull away in the last 3rd for a close but clear pts win.

(I feel a 50/50 type fight will go to Pacquiao tho, Floyd must win at least close but clear to get this verdict - if it goes 12, which I expect it to)

THIS FIGHT MUST HAPPEN - & THE WINNER BELONGS WITH THE ELITES, NO DOUBT.

PBF he's simply too good defensively and complete for Manny. Who has never been in the ring with an athlete as good as him or a boxer as good as PBF he'll be in for a shock. Add the fact that PBF has better reach against a guy who loves to come in off balanced and PBF is the best counter-puncher in the game and you have a stylistic nightmare for Pac.

PBF won't get lured into a brawl with Manny he will fight his fight which will consists of him jabbing Manny to the body and face while circling. Catching Manny with clean counters and lead right hands. PBF is a smart fighter he will clinch Manny to break up his rhythm and beat him up on the inside where he's the superior fighter as well. I think people will be surprised at the way PBF takes Manny out of his game by not fighting his fight this will force Manny to come in even more reckless and he will he tagged even more because he can only fight one way and he's there to be hit. He hates it when you won't engage him like he wants you to and gets outboxed for stretches when it's not all out war.

If people think Pac will hit PBF like he did Cotto they don't know boxing it won't happen. Historically defensive counter-punchers have owned aggressive pressure fighters offense sells tickets but defense wins championships. PBF loves pressure look at Hatton look at Ndou look at Chavez all brought tons of pressure and all got eaten alive with clean hard shots. Educated pressure would give PBF more trouble and that comes from behind a jab, picking shots and cutting off the ring Manny doesn't do this he comes forward with basic in an out and looks to bang and If I said this once I've said it 10000 times you won't beat an elite defensive counter-puncher like PBF without a jab.

The 1st round means nothing. Pac was feeling out and being very careful to see if he could take Cotto's power. Turns out he could and that's when the carnage began.

This fight needs to happen. I just cannot predict what will happen.

    Some points:
    1) Mayweather beat Marquez so easily because of the weight and reach advantage (obviously) and also because Marquez is a counter punching genius and shines against aggressive fighters. Mayweather was the worst fight Marquez could have taken.

    2) Mayweather has never faced a fighter like Pacquiao. Judah is fast but Pacquaio is faster and Judah doesn't throw punches from all angles and with huge power like Pacquaio.

    3) Pacquaio has never faced anyone with the skills of Mayweather. Will he be able to catch Mayweather? Pacquaio will pressure Mayweather for 12 rounds all the way.

    4) We weren't sure of how strong Pacquaio's chin was before. People always brought up Pac's early knockout loses. After watching the Cotto fight it's plain to see that Pac has an iron chin. Another thing to add to his arsenal.

    5) Mayweather's chin. Due to his amazing defensive skills, he's never really been caught by any huge shots. There's no doubt Manny with his unpredicatble angles, WILL get through a few times. Will Mayweather be able to handle it?

I wish I was special enough to create official polls. I wonder how people get to be so special?

Is there a community vote? Does the owner of the site select them? Do they have to pay a registration fee?

Cause we wouldn't want any old schmuck creating polls and calling them "Official". That would be hell gay.

People on this forum are ****ing hilarious. If you can't recognize that the strategy Cotto used to easily win Round 1 is an extremely less skilled approach than Mayweather will apply, then you are a ******. I'm not saying it won't be competetive, but winning 7 rounds against Floyd Mayweather is a ridiculous task. If Pac won 4 or 5 rounds, I wouldn't doubt his greatness. But 7 rounds...not gonna happen. Floyd will make the adjustments, nullify his attack and cruise to a UD. You think Pac land was shitting themselves after round one of the Cotto fight? Wait til it's round 10 and Pac has zero answers. Just frustration and regret.
