OFFICIAL POLL: Pacquiao vs Clottey

MP will win by UD although a TKO in the later rounds is not that far fetched.

 

I would have to say Pac. But I would not rule out Clottey in this one.
Cotto busted Pac up fairly well in a pretty one-sided affair. Clottey is much more durable, and he is a decent counterpuncher. Clottey is a come forward type of fighter, tailor made for Pac. But, Pac has never faced a guy as durable as Clottey. Clottey also has that shell defense. ??
Anything can happen, but Pac by decision is the wise choice here.

 

That's pretty funny but highly accurate. Got himself DQed against Baldomir for repeatedly low blowing and headbutting. Tried to ***** out of the fight against Margarito because his knuckle was bruised then gave away the championship rounds to Cotto by coasting like an idiot.

Odds are he'll be schooling Pacquiao early then shell up and give away all the remaining rounds to lose a decision.

 

Pac will stop Clottley, around the 9th or 10th. Pac is just gonna keep punching until either the corner or referee stops it.

As long as Pac keeps moving and letting his fist fly, he should pull the UD win. He better not do what he did with Cotto, and allow himself to get hit "...just to feel how hard his power is..." Cuz Clottey is a strong mofo.

some people said the floyd/cintron fight was pointless seeing as how many ppl here picked floyd to win in the poll thread for that fight......guess this fight is just as pointless.

 

Pac's manila ice right hook could spell big trouble for the clottey guard. still, i like the fact clottey is a decent boxer like cotto, but with much better defense so i'm hoping it might be more competitive. pac hasn't really been in a competitive fight since marquez and hopefully clottey can give a good fight. pac by UD in a fight much closer than what the results might suggest

 

I dont know pac mite have puit himself in a dangerous position. Clottey is big, strong, has a great chin, gud defense, and underated skills.

 

Watched a few of Clottey's fights this week. The fella can fight. It's confused me a bit to be honest. I can easily see Pac taking a decent UD on work-rate and aggression (8-4-ish), but I can also see Clottey dropping Pac somewhere around round 8.

I'm leaving it until nearer the fight to jump off the fence. ***** is me.

 

clottey doesnt have enough heart to win a fight against pac.
might not even get past the early rounds due to the above reason
