Cunningham is the #1 Cruiser in the world according to Ring mag, and Adamek is the #3. I wonder if this will be for the Ring belt as well, once Haye moves up? Either way, Steve has the advantage here. He is taller, has longer reach, and also has a solid amateur background. Plus he is a natural cruiser, unlike Adamek. Adamek may have a handspeed advantage though, and his solid chin will serve him well in this fight. Overall we will have to see if Adamek can box with Cunningham, and failing that, if he can pressure him into an in-fight. It'll be a tough job to do, I'll post my predictions closer to fight week. Adamek UD after a clinch and runfest put on by Steve. You still have yet to give me any evidence of Steve's great performances.
Tough fight for Adamek, but I believe he can win via UD. Not sure of Cunninghams chin, but maybe he can even get to that.. Adamek as we all know isnt afraid to get hit and has a solid chin. Not that this will be his tactic, as he has been very good defensively since his fights with Briggs, but those are just evidence of what I said earlier. I would expect Adamek to keep comming forward, and while doing that tapping Cunningham a few times more then he would like. Cunningham starts backpeddling and Adamek takes it from there. I dont think Cunningham has the power to KO Adamek, and his speed isnt better then Adameks, either, while Adamek has both the speed, the power, the chin, and the technical ability.. as well as the brawling ability. He in general is a very well rounded fighter. Adamek UD. Then again their speed might be close.. but I still take Adamek UD.
Pick em fight as of right now for me. I'll wait a little closer to fight time before I make my offical pick.
