It would be an intresting fight. I'd like to see if pavlik can do better against B-hop than calzaghe did. I dont see any problem with this fight. Hopkins is smart enough to get a win and it would be a good test to see how good pavlik really is.

 

obviously I don't follow it that closely, but Sturm wasn't even mentioned as a possibility when it's obvious that he's on of the best options out ther for pavlik.

Kelly wants to unify. At one point Sturm offered a shot to WW. Arum told WW to go take Sturm up on that offer and bring back the belt and they would talk. If Sturm won't fight AA for $2.5 million, then what would he want against Pavlik? Some talks just don't go anywhere when the promoters know it is a waste of time.

If palvik fights hopkins, good for him,,,,but as person that follows boxing, i know he got alot of choices at his own weight division who would be a tougher fight,,,,sturm is one of them, when he comes in boxing using great jab, he is very hard to beat round out of him let alone a fight,,,an author abraham/palvik, is probley the most exiting fight out there for the fans with palvik, see joe to good of a boxer, an sturm in the end would UD, an hopkins would more likly. UD, keep in mind with palvik chin, there is alway a chance of a stoppage, even with sturm less the 10 kos on his record........But abraham would take palvik punishing punches as give back some himself, that is probleye one of the best showdowns in boxing today, so to me palvik ducking the 160 boxers an hoping hopkins is over the hill,

 

This will be a great match up.
Hopkins despit his age is a superb technician and a sweet counter punch which will find Kelly all night long.

AND it will enhance Calzaghe's victory over him.

Most people think Hopkins will beat Pavlik, at least according to the poll on ESB, so I don't see why this isn't a good fight.
