Wow Juanma's face doesn't seem like he was in a fight. On the other hand Penalosa's face is all ****ed up.

Surviving 12 rounds should have been a moral victory for Gerry. :-(

 

Damn I wish for 1 more round but Roach probably has something in his mind, Even though Gerry still fights back. He doesn't want to see a friend gets beat up like that.

Penalosa was not even agreeing. BUt thas boxing.

 

I think Penalosa agreed to stopped the fight.

In my book, he already has the moral victory, because he didn't look like getting stopped, if he had been allowed to go 12...but Roach was right to stop it...he was getting beaten up and he had no chance of beating Lopez...

 

Penalosa could have finished the fight but I understand where Roach is coming from. The old man just had too many things going against him in this fight and taking more punches just for the hell of finishing a fight might not be the best idea.

Congratulations to Lopez for an amazing performance and to Gerry for making every boxing fan proud of the warriors who step into that ring.

Gerry is limited. Tough muther****er, but limited.

Lopez needs to learn how to fight with a jab, and box. The all offense style is great, but sometimes he throws just 1 or 2 too many shots, and is open for a counter.

A-hole is blind that it was a corner stoppage. Penalosa still wants to continue, he was disagreeing with Roach. But Roach is the one who will be followed.

 

Damn, reminds me of the time he fought De, leaon and Gonzales where he got hit alot. I feel..tThe Rican is a monster, taller and younger.
