I realize people are unhappy with Canelo but I think they should relax. Canelo deserves an easy money fight because he has been more willing to take on tough opponents than most fighters (unlike the Triple Ducks of the World).

When Canelo had the opportunity for a big money fight with Floyd, he agreed to the catch weight. Golovkin and his team have shown to be very incompetent and have no one to blame but themselves. Canelo has proven himself many times. We're all waiting for Golovkin to do the same but he does not dare to be great.

 

Golovkin is through. Everyone has been calling for him to step up for years, and still waiting.
This dude is destined to retire as a 90k PPV wannabe.

 

It would seem so. Even if he ever does step up from fighting cans he'll likely be old and shot-to-pieces by then. :-(

 

I guess he deserves a gimme but this fight is a joke.

 

Remember when people would say 'Who has Khan fought?' Lo! They are among those fallen from grace. Khan is esteemed beyond such lowly talk! Verily, Khan will face the Lineal Middleweight Champion who is a Light Heavyweight on fight night.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Canelo win...

but Canelo suffers a mysterious injury delaying him being able to return to the ring until 2017.

 

People are going to very surprised at how competitive this fight is going to be.

I expect it to be in between the competitiveness of Canelo-Cotto and Canelo-Lara.

Khan is not as brave as Cotto, but not as mobile as Lara, both fights at 155 that took Canelo the distance.
