I don't deny Sergio the right to a stay-busy fight, but why six months from now? It's not like Maravilla is getting any younger.

Maybe his knee is still really messed up? Do we know?

As far as Murray is concerned, while he's not a Pac or a Canelo, he does have an impressive record (if you don't look too closely) and he will surely bring out the British fans in droves. It could actually be a big PPV event.

I think people underestimate the accumulated damage Sergio recived in that fight Vs. Chavez. (Both fighters suffered)

I'm Rethinking this after Robinson's interview with Sarmiento. Martinez has three fights left in his career and they want one to be a solid contender, another to be Chavez Jr.. And they want a final fight with Floyd Mayweather.

Should he be fighting Quillin, Geale, Sturm, Oosthuzien, and GGG over Murray? That's a debatable point, but taking the rematch as an older man against Chavez Jr. and facing Mayweather are two big points in Martinez's favor.

Martinez taking the easy route to another Chavez Jr payday

He's aware that Canelo would beat his metrosexual ass had he accepted the cinco de mayo challenge

No point mentioning the likes of Canelo, Cotto, Mayweather, Pac, etc. They're not gonna' fight him. Realistically, he has to stick the middleweight - where the best possible opponents are those that aren't too easy to acquire. They're either fighting in their own countries or are a bit too green.

Good homecoming fight for Sergio against a ranked contender. Sergio hasn't fought in Argentina for 10 years! Murray will come to fight but Sergio should outclass him and stop him in the mid-to-late rounds.

Murray is a decent stay-busy fight for Martinez. He's ranked no. 8 at MW by Ring and he lost by SD against Sturm which basically means that he was robbed :D

Many people want to see Martinez vs Golovkin and Ward. The problem is that Golo. isn't a draw and Ward doesn't accept to fight at a cw.

Probably Martinez will rematch with Chavez jr and then have a fight with Cotto at 158 cw. GBP won't let Canelo to fight with Martinez and Floyd probably will stay at ww fighting there.

i like this fight, whens the last time he fought in Argentina?

I do think to solidify his career he should unify with either Geale, Quillin or Golovkin

So I guess he's not just about the money like some of his detractors were saying.
