Can there be any doubt that, when people look back at this era, Shane Mosley is going to be one of the first boxers they felt defined the era? He's fought so many great boxers: sometimes he's won and sometimes he's lost, but he's always made a fight out of it and he's always been worth watching. In a way I almost hope Mosley retires now, because there have been few final fights as impressive as this one could be.
Thanks. I've been pimping for GSP all week - but I had to change my avatar tonight to honor the occasion.
I was hoping for an SD decision myself, I never expected such a dominant performance. SBA baby, especially tonite, did anyone see Jack Mosley's hott little 23 year old hottie date? Tonite, after all the champagne has been drunk, Jack Mosley will be driving it into her rectum as she calls his name, in a Suite, on a King Sized bed at the Waldorf in Downtown LA.
I had a feeling at the start of the fight that Margo would be stopped. I shut my self up when I thought of his 'granite' chin. I've been a SSM fan for years and it is great to see him back on top. WTG SSM!!!!!!!!
There is no doubt he's one of the best of the era. I think he should fight on, and he should choose his opponents carefully for a change. Money bouts with either Floyd or Pac loom. He deserves such a fight, and I believe he can beat either.
Mosley's sheer power and strength should be a near-impossible challenge for Floyd, Pac or even Hatton. Of course, many said the same thing about Oscar, but unlike DLH, Mosley is a warrior who will always try his best to win. This is almost the perfect day: first I got a flush of good grades back from my courses, then I had my first threesome, then Mosley won. If Mosley does fight on, I will expect him to give me similar luck.
Agreed. Not only could Mosley still pull the trigger, but his lead right is incredible. Pac won't be able to take many of those, and I suspect Mosley would land them with steady frequency. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
I think the thing about Mosley, even at this age, is that he's got so much going for him in so many departments: his power is underrated because he's been in with so many ultra-durable boxers; his speed, even now, is incredible; his offensive skill is excellent; his chin is, of course, unquestionable. His defence, while never his strongest point, is still only inferior when compared to the very best in the division. I like Pacquiao, but Mosley would be a step too far.
