Its a matter of egos now. Who will back down first. Someone will somewhere down the line to make this fight happen. Might not be March but some negotiation or agreement will be met. As long as they are both serious to fight. Pac is serious and I think floyd is.

I cant see him cheating myself he has too much respect for the support, fans, country. Just because Floyd and his dad are making accusations doesnt make it true. He has never failed a drug test. If they really want this petition it to the boxing commissions and he has no choice if they change the rules for everyone. Until then, Innocent until proven guilty

Well you would have to worry about it. Mosley agreed and signed to do that very testing for a 2.5 million dollar payday against Judah. **** for 15 to 20 mill he would stand to make against Floyd he would let them use his blood to write the ****ing contracts.:good

I am sure he wouldn't mind blood testing.

But I can assure you that soem people are very bothered by it.

To each his own I guess.

i think your are right...i think if the fight happens, and it probably will, it won't be until late 2010 so they can go through the red tape of petitioning the NSAC to oversee the testing (random blood + urine w/a cutoff).

Pacquiao is a cheating coward. If he was a man, he's step up and prove the critics wrong. His obvious fear of either Mayweather Jr or being caught cheating is clouding his judgement. Well... I guess that's just what cheating cowards do.

I personally know of some people would give half their blood for food. Would Shane do that too?

I guess it really depends on how desperate you are in relation to the amount at stake.

Once they do that lets see what GBP has to say about it. Seeing every fighter from here on in gets tested. Who knows how many will fail. For those reasons it might not go through, well not to certain timelines.

He has said he will fight Floyd and hasnt ever backed down from good opponents. I'm sure he has taken some easier title contenders then he could have but everyone does that. Floyd has cherrypicked a lot of his fights.

In all of this the main loser is boxing. This is the type of fight it needed and will just make things worse for the sport until they hype up two more fighters who become boxings golden boys which can be a while.

Didn't want to start a new thread to add to already 2903423452348 threads about this fight so I just picked this one to post but.... here is the absolute latest (as of about an hour ago) on the fight. Steve Kim of MaxBoxing tweeted:

got my haircut, now bout to workout and then lunch at Rafa's. told that Pac-May is looking good(for now)

He also mentioned this last night:

No matter what’s being said by either Richard Schaefer or Bob Arum, the bottom line is this, as long as Bruce Binkow of Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank’s Todd duBoef, continue to talk, Pacquiao-Mayweather is not dead. I was told that the two talked last night and continue to try and iron out a compromise

Take it for what its worth.

    Thanks for posting that.

Michael Marley, who has been brutal covering this fightly biased in covering the fight thus far, just published an article saying that Pac/Foreman is essentially done for 3/20 and will be finalized Sunday:

Besides his immediate counseling crew, things like this article below, coming from his homeland people is what I'm thinking strongly influences Manny Pacquiao. Pinoys and Asians at large aren't like Americans at all, their principles and views on life and it's situations are quite different...money involved or not...
