How about the fact he says "Unlike other german promoters"?

That to me means he's a german promoter..which means he represents ALL OF YOU.

    Turkish/mexican/saudi...he's representing german ****ing boxing.

    He's ONE OF YOURS.

He threw in the towel because his boxer was on the verge of getting KOd. A KO would look worse on his record. A TKO is not as bad

I read here someone saying that nobody was writing about what happened during this bout (I saw fightnews talking about what happened in the form of a public press release by Oner).

I really thought Graham from fight writer would talk about it. He usually posts a report analysis within the next 2 to three days after a bout. He hasn't for this one. So I wrote to him:

    Good afternoon mr. Graham,

I've been a long time reader of your articles. I like the way you write and highly value your opinion when it comes to boxing bouts.

I have been asking myself a question though after the Williams-Airich bout. I am a eastsideboxing forum user and somebody wrote on the front page that no one was risking commenting on the turn of events during this bout.

I then took upon myself to check the usual boxing news sites and finished with yours, keeping the best for desert.

I was really surprised that you hadn't posted a result on this bout as you usually do within two to three days after a boxing match.

Are you still working on the article or have you decided, like all other seemingly neutral information channels to silence your concerns about what happened during that bout? If this is the case, they you will see me very sad indeed for I always thought you to be above this corruption that seems to be rotting the boxing world nowadays.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read me,

    Regards,

If he cared for the health of his fighter just rush off to the corner and tell them to throw the towel, simple, why act like an official all of a sudden and ring the bell?
If he was honest about not having any connections with the other people then how come none of them questioned him or even stopped him from ringing the bell all alone?

This was a good attempt at masking Ohner's actions. It is clear he wanted to save his fighter. Whether it was for Airich's good, his onwgood, his and Airich's good, or for the good of all three it is an attack on the rules of boxing. This sort of thing simply can't be allowed. In something like the NBA or the NFL this would result in a one year suspension. Unforunately this won't happen in boxing, but it should.
