    Toledo got robbed big time , Lomachenko's hype is so great that , unless you ko him , it's impossible to beat him . Zou Shimming , the Chinese , is another one . Peace .

    Didn't see the match but I believe what you say. Seems that those days of Cuba winning 5 to 7 Gold medals are long gone and the robberies are one of the factors. But these robberies have always been in the Olympics and Cuba still managed to bring home the biggest harvest of Gold medals in the past.

    Roniel Iglesias and Robeisy Ramirez are now our only hope for Gold. I really think that they will win it as they have all won their matches very easily so far demonstrating their superiority. But let's not count our chickens before they hatch as we know how it goes! :-(

    Bro Toledo fought the perfect fight , tight guard and picking Vasily with pot shots , Lomachenko looked kind of worried at the end because he knew it was more than a close bout and still he won . Crazy . Peace .

    Bro I'm just giving my opinion , I'm sure that if Bon Bon watches that fight he will agree with me , it was a close fight but I think Toledo just edge it . Peace .

    We are not " imagining " any Cuban supremacy, it's the facts. Just go to the web and check Cuba's status in the Olympics, World amateur Championships, Goodwill Games and World Cups and you will see that Cuba is on par or higher than any Country from the former USSR. It's only now in Beijing 08 and London 12 that we have done very poorly. You can't hide the facts and statistics my friend, Cuba has won an average of 4-7 Golds at every Olympic since the early 80's to mid 04 ...

    Like I said, the Cuban sports programs have suffered greatly with the horrible economic situation in Cuba. Plus you can add those top athletes that defect and it really hurts them. As you know, the top Countries in amateur boxing has always been Cuba and USSR, it's just now that it's a bit different.

    Great win for Iglesias , he got robbed against Berinchik at last World Championships ( not Berinchik fault of course ) and was also robbed against the Thai Boungonoon at the Beijing Olympics so finally at the third intent he got his Olympic title . He boxed beautifully through out the tournament and deserved to win it . :good . Peace .

    Robeisy Ramirez wins GOLD !!!!!!!!

    Great win by Robeisy, the kid is a great boxer and at just 18 years old. Results, 2 Golds and 2 Bronze, much better performance than in Beijing 08!!!
