Hmmm, " would " doesn't count my friend, you have to talk when your fighters " prove it in the ring " ok? There's a saying in Cuba that goes " mucho blah blah blah, pero hay que demostrarlo en el terreno y con el bate en la mano ". This means " much talk, talk and talk, but you have to demonstrate it in the field and with the bat in the hands ". It's a baseball saying but also applies to any sport.

As far as Canelo goes, if it's so easy for him to beat Lara then why doesn't he prove it? Rios? :nut Common man, Rios got schooled by a " mediocre Cuban " in Richard Abril. Just be glad that Gamboa backed away from that fight from financial and contract issues. Instead of bashing each other let's just wait and see who's the real deal.

    :good

Well, so far 3 Cubans out and 5 going into Quarterfinals. I am predicting 2-3 Golds for Cuba but 4 would be ideal. I just don't want to see a repeat of what happened in Beijing, all 4 Cubans in the Finals lost. Yes, they got 4 Silver medals which is still very good but Gold is what really counts! Cuba's best Olympic performance was in Barcelona 92, 8 Gold medals!

Yes I can see that. Gamboa last 3 opponents were world class Mexicans and he played with them. I really don't see his point... :huh

Poor Cuba has been screwed over. Two fighters clearly won yet have been cheated.

What does Cubantards do 24/7 on ESB you hypocrite... it's all talk.. Not much doing when your same cubans feast on bums and then talk the talk bashing on Canelo for feasting on his opponents when all those opponents trump anything on Lara's **** resume.

But Yeah I'll wait... ya'll talk **** i'll do the same :bbb

Wow really played with them  he played with the shittiest Mexican and that was Solis...

He was in a close fight with Salido who Knocked his ass down :deal and Ponce who he was just able to outpoint and left much of that solis performance to be desired with Ponce who he played a safety first fight showing his respect for the mexican. So played :nut yeah right

Don't be so sure about that , first place belongs ( they've already paid for it ) to " Great " Britain . Cuba will be lucky if they get one gold ( La Cruz ) . Peace .

not really, most cubans are fans of morales, marquez, barrera.
but some mexs like Doc are taking it to a personal level, just criticizing whatever smells cuban.I believe its the guilt of seen their traditional warriors been substituted by some protected hype jobs .
