    He probably didn't pay enough...
But Barboza is very tricky. I for one got very distracted by his right foot, before you know it his opponent starts to watch that and then gets surprised by Jaime's huge punching power :yep

Just found out the other day that Billy Dib won the vacant IBF feather belt not beating anyone of note. Belts now are just promotional tools to hype fights and fighters. They no longer distinguish the best fighters. Ring ratings should be the only ones recognised

creating a new useless 168lbs world title to get someone like Barboza a shot at it was one of the worst jokes ever.. i mean the guy was a no hopper at 154lbs

took wlad his entire career to even get a chance at that belt....

July 2nd 2011 He takes it from David Haye
August 27th 2011 these 2 clowns fight for it

Wlad ranked #1 as a heavyweight by boxrec as well as the legit champion

    Chagaev ranked 13 by boxrec
    vs
    povetkin ranked 14 by boxrec

    for the

    vacant WBA World heavyweight title

flash back within the last 12 months

    This is just incredible....

for the WBA WORLD Middleweight title

Gennady Golovkin vs Milton Nunez 21-1-1 (19 kos)

    we all know Golovkin
but Milton Nunez? obviously a WBA groomed sacrificial lamb

theres a reason we keep track of fighters records

Nunez first 11 opponents not 1 had a single win

hi 12th fight he fought a guy 7-1 (nunez was TKOd in 1 )
how dare he fight a guy with wins??..
so in fight #13, and #14 fights 2 guys making their pro debut
fight 15 he fights a guy with 2 wins and 9 losses and has a DRAW against him......
so after 15 fights he has yet to beat a guy with at least 1 win so what does he do for fight 16? fights a guy with ZERO wins and 2 losses

so here are his last 7 fights

    10-2008 Ignacio Solar 19-15-1
    11-2008 Jose Cervantes 7-1
    12-2008 Edinson Teheran 6-6-1
    02-2009 Diego Castillo 23-6
    06-2009 Johnny De Horta 0-3
    02-2010 Howard Enrique 0-2
    04-2010 Anibal Miranda 8-17-1

    ok...to sum it up

the WBA challenger for the middleweight title has

    a total of 22 fights
16 opponents never had a single win
    3 opponents had winning records
1 opponent was 6-6 (but lost 6 out of 7 going in)
    1 opponent 8 wins 17 defeats
    1 opponent had 2 wins 9 defeats

Nunez was a replacement because Stum, Mundine, N´Dam ducked out.. the joke about that was that Sturm got elevated to super champion instead of getting stripped after he pulled a duckjob on Golovkin and even gave a statutory declaration that he wont fight Golovkin and of course that the guy Nunez somehow was ranked amogst the top 15 middleweights by the WBA.. but Nunez was ranked before it was not that they put him on the list because Golovkin wanted to fight him as it often happens when some paper champ is looking for an easy optional defense..

the WBA has been KING of **** so far...but the IBF has just made another appearance on this thread..and making some noise

    Tavoris Cloud vs Fulgencio Zuniga

IBF light heavyweight championship of the world...held by former guys like roy jones, reggie johnson, bobby czyz, prince charles williams,

Fulgencio Zuniga is making his light heavyweight debut (gets title shot)
Fulgencio Zuniga is currently rated # 62 in the world as a super middleweight
his record over the last 3 years is 3 wins -2 losses
    2008 L12 Denis Inkin
2008 WKO5 Diego Castillo ranked 500th in the world at the time
2009 KO'd by Lucian Bute in 4 rounds
2009 KO2 Jose Chiquillo RECORD is 2 WINS and 20 LOSSES

his only fight of 2010 he KO'd Anibak Miranda
Anibal Miranda RECORD 8 wins and 18 LOSSES
Anibal Miranda is 46 YEARS OLD
and this below is not a misprint
Anibal Miranda has not won a fight since 1989!!!!

NEXT up for Zuniga is a shot at the IBF Light Heavyweight title

side note on the Anibal Miranda guy - hes from Colombia
in his last fight he fought Milton Nunez (from Colombia) who was the guy Gennady Golovkin knocked out in 58 seconds this year for the WBA "interim" middleweight title
    Fulgencio Zuniga is from Colombia

stuff like this makes boxing a joke and the IBF is now a joke for sanctioning it

the WBC stripped Bradley after 6 months of no activity

the WBA released a statement that said they were going to "STRIP GUILLERMO JONES of he didnt defend his WBA cruiserweight title" total time of inactivity was 2 years and he never did get his belt seized!

WBA favors south american and these Caribbean islands , much like mexico and the WBC go hand and hand. Huillermo Jones happens to live in Panama...not too far away from WBA president Mendza of Venezuela
