Just a decent stay busy fight for Adamek as he awaits the vacancy of the WBA kiddie belt currently held by Potvetkin.

Smart move really......if Adamek somehow wins that title he can milk it like Potvetkin has done and defend it against Rahman, Boswell, Huck and Wawryk.

 

I would like to see Adamek v Huck at heavy

 

This fight proves what I've been saying for so long, Thomasz could easily have ducked Grano but instead he steps up to the plate and gives the fans the fight they want to see.

Or no, I'm just joking. What a bull**** fight. Thomasz should move back down to cruiserweight, he's just a joke at heavyweight.

 

Grano lost to Molina who took the fight on short notice who lost to Arreola in one

This fight is his "comeback" fight after a long time off... I expected it. Do you guys expect anything else?

Fight Grano, win on points... then fight some top challenger. If you win, go the next step. If you lose, retirement or some big polish fight.

 

Yeah, Grano isn't really cut out for a high level of competition. He is basically a rugged club-fighter best suited to contending for regional titles here in New England. HOWEVER, he is a gutsy and strong guy with a punch and has scored upset knockouts of three "name" opponents (Kaufman, Minto, and TOS)

Considering how shaky Adamek has looked eating real heavyweight punches (and not just the jiggle from Vitali's jab...I'm talking about punches from vastly inferior heavyweights nowhere close to champion status) a Grano stoppage isn't beyond reason here.
