Haye??? :rofl Pulev just beat his best win Chisora, how is he ranked below Haye? Haye does not belong in any Top 20 list.
I don't agree with Jennings being ranked in the top 10. But it is not easy to say who should be ranked tenth.
Lucas Browne might be better than I first thought. 23-0 1NC vs Chagaev. I wonder how good Izu Ugonoh is 15-0 12ko's?
Thats a killer top 10 in my opinion. You can put Jennings over Takam easy. Jennings lost to Wlad and Ortiz and Takam lost to Povetkin and Parker
Thanks. Was actually very tight between Takam and Jennings for the #10 spot. Picked Takam on the basis that he went the distance with Parker and caused him a lot of problems. Not extremely assured on my ordering of the rest of them either. Joshua, Wilder and Ortiz are easily interchangeable.
Povetkin should be above Wilder, after he pulled out of fighting Povetkin for no valid reason other than the fact he is not a top fighter and did not want to be exposed.
Fury Klitschko Povetkin (I believe the controversy will be sorted out) Pulev or Joshua Puelv or Joshua Ortiz Wilder Parker Haye Chagaev (since the Brown verdict was upheld) Some honorable mentions: Martin- it is clear that he is not really that good, but a 6'5, hard hitting, southpaw, former IBF champ has to have some kind of future, no matter how disgracefully he surrendered the belt. Brown- Did knock out Chag and I believe that the substance found in his sytem was relatively minor. If Ortiz can serve his time and come back, maybe Brown can do the same. Teper- Clearly on a roll until derailed by steroids. Who knows how good he is without chemical help, but maybe he can still contribute the same as Brown and Ortiz. Takam- Love the guy and he always makes it tough, but just loses most of the big ones. Hugh Fury- Not quite there but closing in Ustinov- 39, fat and crude, he consistently wins agaisnt Wlideresque competition. Fury owes him a voluntary. and, the DONT EVEN TALK TO ME category Scott- Last October he beat a badly faded Thompson, he really did beat Glazkov and his only two loses were obvious dives: the guy could be somebody if he tried. The fact is, he obviously hates being a professional fighter and at 35, his second chances are over. Stivern- a fat guy who gets stopped against Demetrice King and dropped by Rossy. I do not believe that he will ever fight again, and certainly not at top level. A real disgrace. Molina- a guy who gets knocked out in the first round twice. A win against a once great zombie LHW does not change that. Duahapas- tougness and jab can take him to fringe status, but a guy who gets beat by Pianeta is not going anywhere. Beating a cripple changes nothing. Speaking of which... Helenius- I had really hoped he could re-habilitate, but I have never seen a fighter have that kind of shoulder injury and come back 100%. Add in his frail hand, the bad shot he took to his throat, etc. and it is clear his body can no longer take it. Retire. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Chisora-I am still waiting for someone to explain to me what this guy supposedly does well. Small, average power, no defense or movement. A "pressure fighter" who comes in **** shape and stops putting pressure once he gets tired. Once had a good chin, but Haye broke it. Jennings- he just isn't that good. The fight with Wlad was not close, and Ortiz whacked him out of there handily. A nice man a solid fringe contender. Szpilka- Some are now trying to big him up after his fight with Deontay, the guy is a chinny crusier who went down three times against Mike Mollo, had his jaw busted by McCline, and lost to Jennings. Arreola- Just retire fat man. Glazkov- The guy should have 2-4 losses now, as Scott, Cuningham and rossy were all dodgy.
