Sexiyama looks a lot healthier at the weight. I picked Shields to win in the league, but I can see Akiyaka forcing a brawl with him and stopping him.

My picks have been hideous, but I'm enjoying this card tonight.

Still four good fights to come.

I would love this to break out into a grappling contest.

Closeish round. I give it to Akiyama, who stuffed and then tripped Shields. He looked the stronger of the two but Shields was in there.

Another great throw! But Shields has worked hard this round. Akiyama didn't allow Shields to really impose himself though.

Shields working harder and more consistently but can't score a takedown and has no power. Sexiyama only working in bursts but doing the more spectacular work. Hard fight to score IMO.

Which one of you said that Akiyama had "world-class" Boxing ability?:lol::lol:

He if was half the boxer that some of you have made him out to be then Shields would have been starched in the first. I swear, that guy is complete garbage. He looks like the grade school playground ***** flailing away at a bully.:rofl:patsch

So Akiyama has no stamina at the weight. Shields took the last round fo'sure, that was classic Shields at the end there. Could go either way, especially in Japan, but I'd shade te 2nd to Shields as well.

every time someone tries to sink a rear naked choke, I instinctively drop my chin down to my chest, it's weird ****.
