http://espn.go.com/mma/story/_/id/7...-ufc-strikeforce-purchase-take-further-action Not a surprise if you knew what you were talking about.
But...... but....... the UFC is by far the biggest promotion, therefore an evil monopoly that will ruin everything. :bart :hat
Sorry for raising the fact that an investigation frequently mentioned on the board has been concluded. I mistakenly thought that might be relevant.
so frequently mentioned that this is the first i have ever heard of it, you should really just pm this to this to the poster you are in conflict with and stop filling the forum up with pure shite 99% of us dont give a ****
Yes. You're right. I shouldn't talk about the implications of the Strikeforce buyout - one of the biggest story's of last year - because you're not interested. If you don't want to read about then instead of bitching how about you just don't ****ing read it?
problem is you are making pointless threads that no one gives a **** about in the forum, we know about the SF buyout zuffa bought it and as you said it happened last year its done with great move by zuffa imo but thats it, i dont give a toss about the complications of it or the solicitors letters about it, you and another poster have a little back and fourth pety argument against 2 other posters, no one else cares of about 100 to 150 other posters on here, you seem to be under the impression that everyone here hates zuffa and what they do and its your right at every opportunity to defend zuffa, its pathetic. Most of us come here to talk about mma not whether or not zuffa violated section 7 of the fair trads commision or whatever BS it was. have a look back through your thread and count how many posters were happy and interested you posted this fascinating news story on MMA
Please show me these pointless threads I've created. NB: Actually to save you the task I went through quickly myself. The last thread I started was on December 4th to publicize a magazine I had an article in and the one before that was to start the discussion about GSP-Diaz being off. So you are completely out of line and I think you owe me an apology. On your broader points no I do not think that everyone is interested in this topic, that's why I didn't force anyone to read it. It is however a big story and worthy of bringing to people's attention. That's why ESPN, MMA Fighting, Sherdog and MMA Junkie have all picked it up. I do not think that everyone on here hates Zuffa nor do I think everything they do is brilliant. Why you have felt the need to resort to these lies because somebody dared to post something you weren't interested in is beyond me.
ok only 1 pointless thread of late, but many pointless posts aimed at 1 or 2 other posters on here, it clogs up threads for the rest of us having to sift through that crap, this thread just capped it off, the PM ing service is there for a reason an apology your a funny ****er
Why would I PM a breaking news story? Surely the whole point of this board is to discuss breaking MMA news? And if two people disagree on a matter of substance then why would they start PM'ing - again surely having that discussion is the point of the discussion board? You accuse me of only caring about a couple of posters but you seem to be saying that if it doesn't directly interest you it shouldn't be posted. Sigh. I will in future try to ensure that everyone I post only interests you. Wouldn't want you to suffer the agony of having to scroll down past something that doesn't immediately grab your attention.
I only have 2 or 3 comment about this whole story.... The UFC isn't a monopoly the same way Monsanto doesn't have a monopoly on soy and corn in the U.S. If a judgement have been passed we don't have any choice but respect it...the same way that [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_libel_laws"]food libel laws[/ame] must be respected in the U.S. And as a last comment This content is protected
Quite. I'm not sure if the UFC is a de facto monopoly and I certainly think its got to the extent that collective bargaining is needed to stop it screwing over fighters, but the idea put forward by some that the government was going to intervene was always a non-starter.
