Yeah, all that holding made Peter's face look like the Elephant Man at the press conference... :-(

Povetkin shows alot of promise but he's not ready in my opinion for Wlad. He beat Chambers, Byrd and a very hungary Taurus Sykes. I would like to see him fight someone like Ibragimov, McCline, Peter or Toney before getting in the ring with Wlad

Povetkin is a very offensive thats why he gets hit so much. I think he has an incredible stamina and hit harder than most ppl think because he throw so many punches that, usually his opponents go into shell, so his punches do not land clean. He will definitely eat some wlad bombs, if his chin dont fail, he has a real chance at later rounds against a tired wlad. Wlad does not like pressure. Most probable result is Wlad by KO. Povetkin has also about 30 % chance.

I'm a fan of both fighters but that last comment of yours has irony all over it pal, Wladimir was holding from the 1st all the way to the 12th, when Peter gets hurt for like 1 second and holds on for 1 seconds he's holding on for dear life?, you're only holding on for deal life when you're about to go down soon and Peter showed none of that even after being hurt in that round.

Holding is a part of boxing. It can be use as tactics (Ali and Lewis did) and Wladimir uses it or to survive a critical situation.

Peter has done very well when he holds. I did not want to critizie him for holding.

This fight was a great fight from Peter and Wladimir and i hope the two meet again in the ring.

...and if you look at that guys clip, at the moment Peter does hold...it was only after KLIT put both forearms on Peter's back and tried to lay on him like he always does...

Peter wrapped his arms around for a brief moment, and slipped to the side so that KLIT couldn't lay on him...then it was back to fighting. KLIT went back to holding.

SUGE...come on...Wlads hands are on Peters back because if you look close you can see Peters hands wrapped around Wlads legs and Peter is slightly "lifting" wlad up.

Take another look Chef, Peter didn't get his arms wrapped around him until Wlad was leaning on him...basically WLAD would have pushed him down, and it would have looked like a knock down.

...as Peter wrapped his arms he slipped to the side, to keep all of WLAD's weight from forcing him down. Watch it a couple of times if you have to...it was a tough fight.

Its all at the same time. Wlad throws a right as Peter ducks causing Wlad to go over the top at the same time Peters body gets under Wlad and Wlad goes up. Tp say Wlad was "Resting or Pushing on Peters back" is wrong.....In my eyes

Just look one more time, and ask yourself at the moment Peter's arms complete the wrap around Wlad...is WLAD already leaning on him with his forearms by the time Peter completes the wrap...???

It's not hard to tell the clip is slow enough...

Yes I see what you are saying..BUT..look how Wlad kinda bends over when peters body goes forward. It cause Wlad to go forward and basically put the arms on Peter to keep from being flipped over. Its a bang bang play, as they say. Not intentional on either guy

If Povektin was to fight Peter,,,, You would not have to worry about Povektin facing wlad,,, Peter would beat Povektin

I hear you and I can live with that...I just don't like hearing the KLIT-ites accuse Peter of holding at that moment, ignoring the fact that he's bent over with a 245lber leaning on his back...
