DeGale has a nice jab, but Ward's is FAR superior.

Ward is also much, MUCH better on the inside than DeGale.

Ward won't fight unless it's in his living room.

Forget about him, he's an irrelevant Glass Hearted American PED using disgrace.

    No Ward is not DeGale

Go back a few pages there is a video with Kathy Duva discussing its titled " Kovalev I'm waiting to welcome Andre Ward to 175"

    With who?
duva is with Kovalev and you have a comment where Kovalev is potentially welcoming a Ward match up if Ward is stopping at LHW, but that isnt negotiations.
It was not long ago I recall reading how Wards trainer mentioned Ward wasnt going up to LHW

Love the fickleness of ESB posters, suddenly Degale is the man?!?!?! I like him and met him and he's a great guy but Ward wins every round.

I think this is a great competitive fight. It's hard to tell how Ward would deal with DeGale as he's so different to anyone he's been in with previously.

This is right up there with the best fights to be made in boing right now period.

Ambrose Mendy has vast experience in the sport of boxing both sides of the pond - the guy has proven credentials.

For instance, he was involved in sorting out Nigel Benn's fights in the states like the one when Benn annihilated another American hype job, Iran Barkley inside one round...

De Gale deserves a lot of credit for beating Dirrell, but, unless Ward has faded badly, he beats De Gale quite easily.

Ward is more elusive than Dirrell and De gale had difficulty at times landing on Dirrell. Ward is also more rounded and less predictable than Dirrell so De gale would find it very difficult to get in to a groove.

De Gale's best weapon in the Dirrell fight was the looping overhand left. It was wild, but because Dirrell backed up with his chin in the air and hands down, he kept getting tagged by it. Ward won't fall for that shot. He is more intelligent than Dirrell, has a tighter defence and doesn't just back up.

De Gale, whilst a clever fighter, does have a tendency to switch off at times and also fight in a way that just doesn't make sense during fights. Through out his career he has thrown away rounds by lack of activity during rounds or by going away from what was originally bringing him success earlier in the fight.

A prime Ward out classes and out thinks De Gale.
