So now, full champ vs interim champ. Is Khan ready to take Maidana's punch ? Is Maidana ready to deal with Khan's handspeed ? Discuss :bbb

    Amir Khan by UD.
Maidana would be badly beaten to the punch & made to look amateurish by Amir.
    (Think quicksand slow)

You don't think Maidana would be able to catch him at all? He's got excellent power and though technically limited is a ferocious brawle with a dirty streak.

If he catches Khan, That's game.
    I agree, :good

I don't see it going down tho, Then again this is boxing.
(Hearns didn't exactly welcome Barkley to hit him either.... We seen how that worked out)

Good matchup, but we know this will eventually lead into Victor Ortiz if Amir Khan comes out victorious. I think this fight would be very close, maybe Amir could pull the decision, but then again how can't you not cheer for a guy like Maidana. Heck with it lets just make this fight happend and then have Ortiz fight an easy one and face the winner of these two afterall.

Amir fights on the backfoot and beats him to a pulp with sharp combos, possibly TKO'ing him late. Maidana has poor defence, and this will be exposed. I wouldnt be surprised if he wobbled Khan a few times and gave him some scares though.

khan would avoid trading. his tactics on the kotelnik fight would work. It's in his favor.

I think Khan would TKO Maidana, Kotelnik was a much more skilled boxer than Maidana and Khan schooled him for most of the fight. Vs Maidana Khan just has to remain focused and with Maidana's open style and poor defence Khan will TKO him mid late rounds.

It's a toss up! Amir is more polished, faster and a far better boxer but his CHIN! His chin is his greatest ememy. He has that liability with him forever. And he'll be suseptiable to getting slept with anyone who can bang. But no doubt if he's smart and fights on the outside, circling, using his jab, angles and footwork he could UD Marcos on the outside with combinations and excellent ring generalship. I don't know....I usually go with the boxer but Many have convinced me that Khan's chin is definitly glass. I'll go with a onsided fight for 5 or 6 round until Marcos finally closes the gap and touches Khan on his chin then it's lights out.

Maidana would hit Khan eventually. He throws long hard punches that would surprise even the fastest of opponents. Any of those shots Ortiz ate would lay Khan out.

Maidana showed good chin and big fighting heart against Ortiz so at this point . . . I'll pick Maidana over Khan.

Khan is more skilled and would take a decision if he keeps from getting caught.
