Often heard boxing cliches you take issue with

    The assumption that the fighter with a more defensive skill set is the more skilled fighter.

    Read thru the thread and agree with some but not all

    I agree with some of these cliches when used right

    its improper use or over use that I take issue with

    Mainly I just get annoyed with people who use very black and white terms to describe fighters. If a fighter wins they are unbeatable, if a fighter loses they are trash and should retire.

    I guess I am a fighter sympathizer, cause most of my irritations comes from people not realizing that fighters are people too.

    Something along the lines of natural weight.
