    Finkel said it himself....

He said a contract wasn't needed.

He refused to show Hearn proof of funding, and refused to draw up a contract, until Joshua accepted the offer.

So his seen the contract and is telling the truth.

Hearn and AJ saying they were never sent a contract. They must be lying.

As I said I certainly am not taking anythng Warren says as gospel in a fight that has nothing to do with him.

This was like when Brendan Schaub tried to talk about the negotiations and got the figures all wrong.

That interview with Schaub is the exact issue 'fan media' is going to give sports as it gets bigger.

He got the facts wrong because he either has an agenda....
Or because he doesn't know enough....

Either way, it shows he's incompetent.

FW has no agenda this week.

FW was embarrassed and had to pull out of a purse bid and BJS was basically forced to fight Andrade in the US by Hearn/Matchroom/DAZN.

    :dunno

You liar he didn't say that.

He said contacts are not normally sent before an offer is accepted.

He never said he'd never seen the contract.

You request for a debate and straight off the bat you start with an outright false statement taking after your daddy Hearn.

And I'm still waiting for those Takam training videos!

I want to see how hard he was training for your boy!

And what Takam training videos are these?
Are you claiming I have videos of Takam?

3 more posts......3 more times you've ducked the debate.

Why is Warren more believable than Bellew?

When was the last time Warren was part of a big PPV event?

am i missing something because I could've sworn Finkel said they weren't sending a contract because Hearn didn't accept the terms? Hearn pulled a lot of ****, and told lies the whole way through the negotiations and couldn't get his story straight with his dads, but i don't think they were sent a contract

It wouldn't be the first time aj/Hearn were caught lying.

Remember when Jenner use to lie ans say he didn't lift weights when there were videposit everywhere of him doing deadlifits, snatch lifts and curls?

What about "if they offer me 50 million I'd accept the next day"

And then only a fortnight ago telling US journalists that it was taken out of context.

And of course where to begin with Eddie and his 1 billion dollar deals to sign all the great A level fighters in the states!

There’s no debate to be had, Tony. Look at the OP. It’s just an audio clip of Warren dismissing Bellew like a school kid. Don’t try to derail the thread into a “what has Warren done thread”. I don’t fanboy promoters like you do. I don’t really care at all about Warren.

    You're correct.

Finkel said there was no need to send a contract.....

You're also incorrect about when you said "Hearn didn't accept the terms".

Terms are on a contract...Without one, there are no terms.

Unless you consider "$50,000,000 with no contract" to be a legit, and acceptable, term.

    You're not into 'fanboying promoters'?

You've just posted a thread doing exactly that.

You've shown your agenda with the title straight away.....

"Bellew and Warren disagree over Joshua/Wilder fight" - There's a non fanboying title which explains exactly what that clip is.

terms don't necessarily need to be laid out in contract form, you can verbally agree terms.

Yes he said that they have to agree to the offer before they would send it. That was said at time when Hearn did an ifilm interview with Kugan in order to manipulate his matchroom groupies and tell them the outright lies that contracts are sent together with offers, along with proof of funds along with calling the offer a stunt

    Finkel's response was this

With all due respect you know Al and I for a long time and you know this is not a publicity stunt. I assure you that we’re serious and we would be glad to sit down with you and provide proper security for the funding and work out all the details.

But it all has to start with Anthony Joshua accepting the $50million offer that he asked for, which is also by far the largest guarantee and largest purse any heavyweight champion in history has ever made.

Until then, it would be non-productive to meet. Please have Anthony accept the offer that he asked for and let’s get this fight made.

And then later sent another email after Hearn ran a smear campaign on both Shelly Finkel and Wilder

You know as well as us how a big fight is made. First an offer is made and if the offer is accepted, a contract will follow.

You saying we didn’t even send you a contract is a smoke screen. Your own recent actions will bare me out.

1-you made us an offer for Deontay to fight Anthony Joshua. This is for the same fight that we made an offer to Joshua, the only difference was that you made an offer to Deontay first. In your offer to Deontay, did you include a contract? No. Why? Because Deontay never accepted your offer.

2-you recently made us an offer for Deontay to fight another one of your fighters, Dillon Whyte. Did you include a contract? No. Why because Deontay did not accept your offer.

3-you made an offer to Wladimir Klitschko to fight Anthony Joshua, did you send a contract? No. After some negotiations Wladimir accepted a revised offer and then is when you sent a contract to us.

How can you complain that you have not received a contract from us, when your own actions prove that is not how a deal is done in boxing. If Anthony agrees to accept our offer, we will be glad to supply you with a contract, proof of funds and any other relevant data needed to complete the contract.

No where did he say that he hadn't seen the contract or not know of the contract like that lying ballbag OpinionOfAMatchroomprossie suggested he said.

As for sending the contract, well...that is another story because both Hearn and AJ made it clear that they had no intention of fighting outside of the uk in America.
