I lost count of the amount of right hooks that slammed into the left side of Oganovs face.....at full extension they were unrelenting and tremendous to watch.
This was a fantastic effort from Pitt......9 pro fights against 34 with 30 wins / 26 KO's.....huge step up and well handled by Pitt.

 

Ya think.....after the second round when Oganov wasn't on Pitts chest he ate right hook after slamming right hook......watch it again and work out a percentage. I would be wrapped at the amount of connecting power shots if I were Pitt......Oganov was stopped because it was a one way street of punishment pure and simple.

 

Come on mate, This was expected to be a walk in the park for Brad, Victor was in there as Cannon foder, a blown up Middleweight who has been havign trouble against smaller guys and losing more than winnning of late.

Losing more than winning, he lost to Michael Bolling by TKO and lost a points 5 round television show fight prior to this. He always comes prepared and was in top condition against Pitt. His style allows him to bulk without it affecting his fighting style.

 

He got dropped by a midget with short arms. That tells me his range was actually a problem.

What are you talking about....Pitt wasn't throwing punches with his head...range refers to arm extension and connecting with your target....he was dragged into Oganov fight and was caught out.....there were 2 fighters in there, one with an extensive record one with 9 fights.

 

Oganov is clearly one of the most feared and dangerous fighters on Aussie soil. If they were not thinking this then Pitt deserved to be KO'd early.....and almost was.

A far more experienced fighter walks up and puts his head on Pitts (9 fights) chest and bombs away in the first round, continues to do this with some success and finally Pitt resorts to push Organovs head back to make room and allow range. Then delivers relentless right hooks and some good left body rips.

At 35 and "shot" at middleweight do you think Oganov has nothing to offer, more or less a tomato can in Aussie boxing?
