http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/20666445 Says he hasnt decided what to do yet but if he does he will have his first pro fight in February. Can see Matchroom Boxing ABC striking again with him signing for them.
Me neither. Don't get me wrong, I like the kid and hope he does well but I just don't think he is destined for big things in the pro game.
i think he'll do alright. not predicting world titles at this stage. wouldn't rule out domestic titles and some good action fights. :bbb
Could do well at domestic level, I hate having chin checker type comments but he does seem to go down easily in the amateurs and has a style more suited to that game. The Brazilian completely dominated him at the olympics.
So was Audley Harrison. Plus he was gifted that Bronze because they wanted Brit boxers to win medals. I just don't think the kid has anything special. No offense, no chin, no toughness, no power :hat
He's a talented athlete who's shown a fair amount of skill & guts. I dont think he'll be a world beater but he'll do ok. That Brazilian was excellent tbf, I think the previous fight with Khytrov took a lot out of Ogogo.
Audley Harrison was a world class amature, say what you want about his pro career, but you have to rate him as an amature. Same with Ogogo, it aint easy getting to the olympics. Fact.
Some guys just can't make the step up to the pros, I can see Anthony Onono being one of them. He just didn't look very good in the Olympics.
