Jr get's a bit of stick on here which isn't really deserved to be honest. Look at who he's fought in his first 5 fights, he's not had it easy compared to most.
just like chavez eh? Eubanks a decent prospect, little am career, matched against decent fighters and looked good, might not be a world beater but hes learning with every fght. id pick him over ogogo any day.
Eubank Jr is getting into wars with journeymen. Ogogo ain't all that either. Would be a very fun fight I imagine.
Ogogo is very average indeed. But yeah, he'll smash Jr. I think the smashing should be arranged ASAP, it's not like they'll meet at a later date for a title or anything...
Journeymen know they are going to get ****ed on the cards so don't go as hard as they can. They know beating Eubank Jr on national tv (even if it is channel 5) will be big for their career so go extra hard. The fact prospects today are fighting guys who have no hope of winning is so evident as when they fight someone game they struggle Murphy/Theophane, Gavin/Woodhouse, Brook/Jones even though they are overall better fighters. If Eubank Jr is fighting guys who are just giving it more of a go then he will learn more than against someone just looking to survive. If this is the case he will progress a lot more rapidly than some of our other prospects. That said he could just be **** too early to tell.
