    Wow!

175 will NOT be an issue... that's crazy.

    Like a whole different man.

Dammmmmm! Sitting next to Roy Jones, he looked small as heck. Roy looked big next to him.
They say between them they going to clean up the LHW division before meeting.

I thought that too, but he says he feels great!
    He looks like someone else.

I don't like this HW Johnson too much. He's fast, but seems lazy or something. Maybe it's the way he walks around with both hands down.

I thought he looked to be in great shape. We'll just have to wait and see him in the ring at that weight. He should be even faster, and he's taken punches from mean HW"s so he might be able to make a little noise in the light Heavies.

You guys are forgetting that Chris Byrd SUCKS MAJOR ASS. Therefore, his bodyweight doesn't make a bit of goddamn difference in the world.

I think you guys are way off the mark here. This is a great thing for Chris Byrd. He looked fabulous. He said he is already walking around at 175 and he could make 168. Remember only Wlad and Ike have really beat Chris Byrd badly. I think he will be very dangerous at 175.

I agree. He was too small in the heavies. I think he'll do really well in the LH with his speed and experience.

I disagree completely. Byrd's skills were most effective against bigger, slower heavyweight where he could counter and use his speed. At the lower weights, he's less effective because those advantages are neutralized.

When you consider this and factor that he's older and coming down to the weight for the first time in something like 12 years, I see no way he's going to be very successful at light heavy.

And this comes from someone who has always been a huge Byrd fan, since the TNF days.

Byrd gets beat by heavy hitters who arent fast. At light heavy now that Haye is gone he will not have to face any really big hitters. Right now he can beat RJJ. I would favor him over almost anyone right now at Light Heavy. If he was fast at heavy and good defensivly he should be even more impressive at a lighter weight. His hand speed and ring movement should be much improved. We will see in May on FnF. I predict he will look great.

Byrd isnt a big man. I tried to tell some of the people here that when the new first broke that he was moving down. He, at times actaully had to work at keeping his weight above 210.

What do you think of this HW, Kevin Johnson?

This is the 1st time I've seen him. I'm impressed with his potential, but disappointed in his lack of tools and ability to create situations.
He really made the fight closer then it should have been.

Is he not in the gym learning new stuff? At his size and with his handspeed advantage, he should be knocking people out. Instead he move around too much and allowed Smith to get off. I have him winning but its much closer then it should have been.
