You are probably right. It's a shame because he's seriously talented.

No, that's not plain from the post at all. "What's not to like?" implies that we should all be grateful for the fight, and while I agree that it's better than not fighting at all, it's far from a scintillating matchup, is it?

Worth mentioning that Ruiz' punch resistance looks like its in the can. He got dropped and hurt really bad by Arreola and fought very scared against Ortiz... two very old and past their prime fighters.

Ruiz was on the top of the boxing world after beating the **** outta Joshua. He then threw it all away on burritos and tacos. He will go down as a wasted talent. Fighting Miller is an embarrassment. He is obviously not serious about the sport and should just retire.

Could you imagine both of these guys being let loose at Sizzler at the same time?

Bah, you're too hard on both of them :sisi1

I say Ruiz weighs in about 280, Miller 320... Neither wants to leave it in the gym ! :D

Yeah that's been obvious for a while now, he beat Joshua, made a load of money and what motivation and desire he had simply vanished and he didn't have a lot to begin with. Reminds me of Stiverne, won the belt against Arreola and basically spent more time at buffets than the gym. Some guys chase a goal for so long and once they achieve it, they have nothing left inside to keep them motivated and on top.

That´s an insult to sumo. Those guys dedicate themselves to the sport, working out several hours every day. Living together in a small house.
And despite their looks, they actually have a strict diet, they just eat enough to be big. And a lot of their meals are with the intent of aiding recovery.

Do you really think Ruiz would have looked as poor v Dubois as Miller did?

Miller has a chance to make AJ look really bad here.
I actually think Ruiz is a juicer, it's just hidden by the incredible fat level. But that turk that KO'd Price was also pretty fat and a massive roider. Let's think about it.
Ruiz barely trains by the admission of his coaches, is obese, and yet somehow has decent stamina in professional boxing matches. He also fights a long way above his natural size. It doesn't really add up. The fact he takes such huge breaks between fights would also allow him to cycle easily.

I bet you’d see a fight to rival Ali-Frazier if they had to tussle over the last remaining bread roll.
