As if Pascal didn't have enough problems with Froch....it's likely the hometown boy gets a little help everytime as long as it's not something grptesque,he should be fine...after all Froch is a limited puncher right?

It doesn't matter...we'll see exactly what happens and how good each man is on the night, just as per usual. Props to the 26 year-old Pascal for travelling all the way from Montreal to fight in front of the puncher's home crowd. You've got to respect that!

If Pascal's gameplan works he should totally dominate Froch anyway so it shouldn't be close but we won't only find out what Froch is made of but also Pascal.

As already said the WBC select the officials right?

Witter vs Harris seemed straight forward and Haye - Mormeck had no issues so this seems like nit picking a bit...

Agreed, until he KOs Pascal he will look sloppy as always and be behind. But he will KO him.

The referee is the real important feller in this fight not the judges. He better not stop Pascal early or take points off just for the hell of it.

This fight is kinda funny. I almost feel like I don't know who to pick in this fight but for whomever does win if they don't seriously dominate the other opponent then they won't have much of a future at the top of the division.

Froch is a former world amatuer bronze medalist...althought that frankly is hard to believe looking at him as a professional.

I've been watching some of Froch's fights in the last couple of days. It had been a while since I had seen some footage of him and I was really supprised by how slow he is. It looks like he's fighting in tar. Frankly for a guy like JP who fights with a slick athletic style if he can't seriously donminate a guy like Froch then he's got a limited future.

The converse for Froch is that there are soo many athletic skilled slick fighters at the top of the 168 lb division that if Froch can't easily handle a guy like Pascal who is fragile, has limited power, makes sloppy mistakes, doesn't show a killer instinct and has had trouble late in fights with such standouts as Brian norman and Omar Pittman, he'll have no chance against the cream of the crop at the top of the 168 lb division.

So basically unless one of these guys shows me something impressive next week then the only interesting thing that will come out of it will be knowing who Taylor's next victum will be.

Some guys are underestimate Pascal so badly. You'll see what a healthy Pascal with a good preparation can do in the ring.

I find it funny that you're talking about referees and judges, being a Bute fan.
