Corruption at the highest level... Fake fight, fake broadcaster, fixed all round. TUT TUT TUT.. Nothing but thieves....
Ref knew Joshua was tiring and Takam was still dangerous. Yes, Joshua was probably still going to win but Takam was still definitely in with a chance. He was landing and the ref sorted Joshua out.
It was disgraceful. Joshua was gassed badly and Takam was just shrugging off Joshua's punches and marching forward throwing some bombs himself. Ref knew Joshua was ****ed. Who knows what would've happened in them last two rounds.
AJ was slowing down and starting to gas before Edwards jumped in the save the day. This is world title boxing and a clown of a ref ruined it.
Why don't they ask Bellend why he is avoiding the WBS Cruiserweight Tournament to pursue a mass PPV conning of public mug funds with fellow actress Davina Gaye in the Donald Duck Body Odour Title
Froch and Bellew (Joshua's mates) trying to con people that that was fair!! **** off we're not all idiots who only watch Joshua fights twice a year.
I think myself Joshua would have seen the fight through but you never know in the Heavyweight Division.
Shite coverage mate. They dont even bother getting anybody in that are objective all of them are part of the Matchroom/Sky AJ circle jerk.
Agree mate. Macklin and even Nelson were trying to say how bad the stoppage was but Bellew wouldn't have any of it. Going on about how AJ trained for a big man. So what?
Joshua was winning that easily, but Takam was still game. He was nowhere near ready to be stopped, and deserved a chance in the championship rounds. In HW boxing, one punch can change history and Takam was not out of it. The UK has probably became the worst (major) nation for premature stoppages, always in favour of the house fighter. It seems that any time a foreign challenger gets into a little bit of trouble, it is likely to get waved off. Folk will say, think of Watson/McLellan, and I agree. It is the consistency that bothers me, the referees only apply that logic to the away fighter and will always give the house fighter ever chance if he is in trouble. Joshua is good enough not to need refs help.
Didn’t bother me too much, ref can’t afford to have our viewers mentality. The guy was touching his eye, blinking every other second and really started taking hard flush shots. Even if he isn’t visibly hurt and is still punching back the ref still has to look out for the fighter.
Didn't like the ref at all as soon as takam got cut the ref was asking if he wants the fight stopped am sure them he kept getting the cuts looked at they weren't the bad then aj starts to gas and the first big shot the ref stops it takam was fine absolutely shocking they couldn't have takam ending aj knockout streak aj looked terrible and aj fans think he would have beat fury he would get embarrassed by fury And aj talking to the fans is so cringe
One of the worst stoppages I've seen for a long time. Takam wasn't going to win but he still had a strong finish in him and Joshua wasn't going to knock him out at that point. Joshua still would've won but I think it would've been a points victory instead.
