I thought Jones was a government employee of Poland now? Was gonna fight another pole, then the chief pole for some title? Possibly guest referee Golota vs Bowe 3?

Based on his bouts with Bernard Hopkins & Denis Lebedev. I think this is a 50/50 fight for Roy Jones. Of course there was a time where it would have been a sure thing that Jones would win.
Jones still has a really good defense. Against Lebedev he did eat a few good shots. He was able to avoid most of Hopkin's and Lebedev's punches. However he has become unable to pull the trigger on his own offense, and is unable to take advantage of the oppertunties that he creates for himself. Despite taking some good shots from Lebedev, it only took one shot to make him go to sleep. Lateef Kayode is a very good puncher.

Is this for a belt? I have not seen much from Kayode? I don't understand why Roy would do this unless it was for a trinket belt just to say he got one...

Roy is gonna get knocked out.

    this just in:

    Trainer says Kayode hit him
    By Felipe Leon

A proposed cruiserweight match-up between undefeated Lateef Kayode (18-0-1, 14KOs) of Hollywood, CA, by way of Lagos, Nigeria, and multi-time world champion Roy Jones Jr. (56-8, 40KOs) of Pensacola, Florida, might be in jeopardy after Kayode allegedly struck trainer Jesse Arevalo at the Powerhouse Gym on Wednesday night. According to Arevalo, Kayode was sparring Malik Scott when Arevalo, who until recently worked with Kayode, made an offhand remark. Kayode threatened Arevalo and after taking off his boxing gloves, struck Arevalo on the cheek and neck. A large number of onlookers were on hand to witness the episode. Arevalo expressed to Fightnews that he would be pursuing criminal charges against Kayode which might put the undefeated fighterÂ’s near future in limbo.

  14. Coyote is feather-fisted and has poor boxing skills. He will still win by brutal KO though.

    Hello GlassJawsExist,

I totally agree with you that glass jaws exist. My favorite fighter that I grew up watching, has one(RJJ).
Do you think Roy's jaw was always glass? or do you think he was hiding it the whole time?

I think Tarver cracked his jaw, which I rate as average at the time....

That punch, with that velocity, landed, would have knocked out anyone with an average jaw. The Iron chinned warriors could have handled it, but it would have hurt for sure. I think Tarver cracked the average jawed Jones at 34, and it turned into china...

After that, Roy Jones has not had punch resistance that a top boxer needs... His D has gone way downhill, he eats punches, he gets koed by fighters he would have demolished.
